Series: England tour of New Zealand, 2019
Venue: Seddon Park, Hamilton
Date: November 29, 2019
Time: 03:30 a.m. IST
New Zealand has an excellent chance to wrap up a series win when they take on England in the second Test at Seddon Park. In the first Test, England scored 353 in the first innings where in return Blackcaps smashed 615 runs with the help of BJ Watling's double-century and Mitchell Santner's century, but England scored just 197 runs in second innings which helped Kane Williamson led the side to win the match with an innings and 65 runs. However, as Seddon park supports batsmen, Joe Root led side is expected to bounce back with a bang.
As the weather forecast suggests, there are chances of some rain on Friday and Monday, which could affect the result, but conditions are otherwise clear.
Generally, the Hamilton wicket helps batsmen, so a good amount with the bat are expected.
- Trent Boult and Colin de Grandhomme have been ruled out of this match due to injuries.
- Daryl Mitchell has been called up to the Test for the first time, while Todd Astle and Lockie Ferguson also re-joined the team.
