DraftKings CS:GO Tuesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings CS:GO series.

Games (EDT):

  • 8:00 a.m: Spirit (SPI) vs. FaZe Clan (FaZe)
  • 11:25 a.m: GODSENT (GOD) vs. Fnatic (FNC)
  • 3:05 p.m: Gen.G (GenG) vs. 100 Thieves (100T)

Spirit (1-0) vs. FaZe Clan (1-0)

The first match of the day is a European showdown between FaZe Clan, bolstered by new addition Bymas, and Spirit, off the back of a string of excellent results. FaZe Clan will be playing their second match with Bymas, who was consistent in a 2-1 victory over GODSENT to open Group C, but is facing his second bout with top-30 competition. Spirit come into the match off a 2-0 sweep of world No. 3 Fnatic in their Group C opener, taking the series 16-3, 16-14. FaZe are the favorites, and with the form of coldzera and NiKo, it's hard to argue against the international mix team, but Spirit have shown that on their day they can challenge anyone. Especially impressive from Spirit has been the core of mir, chopper and somedieyoung, who have consistently gone toe-to-to with the best teams in the world and come out on top. The value in this match could come from FaZe Clan, if coldzera can have another statement performance especially, or if Bymas shows his talent at the very top level of the CS:GO world.

  • SPI Players to Target: mir ($10,800 Captain, $7,200 Flex), somedieyoung ($8,700 Captain, $5,800 Flex)
  • FaZe Players to Target: coldzera ($12,600 Captain, $8,400 Flex), Bymas ($7,500 Captain, $5,000 Flex)

GODSENT (0-1) vs. Fnatic (0-1)

The second match of the day is from Group C once more, with Fnatic and GODSENT facing off with both teams looking to move to 1-1. Fnatic come into the match in poor form, falling 2-0 to Spirit in their Group C opener. Fnatic's poor form doesn't end there though, a 2-0 defeat to Movistar Riders, preceded by 2-1 losses to NiP and Vitality leave the Swedes looking to revamp their style for the summer season. GODSENT took FaZe Clan to a Map 3 after an impressive performance from new man farlig on his debut. If GODSENT can show that same fight, alongside the newly added firepower of farlig, they could give Fnatic another extremely hard match. Fnatic will look towards their young superstar, Brollan, who struggled to have an impact against Spirit in the opening match, and provides the bulk of the firepower for the Swedish outfit. GODSENT will rely on new man farlig already, alongside the consistent output of STYKO, to complete the upset of Fnatic, and grab a 1-1 record. The deciding factor in this match could fall squarely on one man: flusha. When the Swedish veteran is on form, he is one of the best in the world at creating space, and opening the map for Fnatic, but was a non-factor against Spirit.

  • GOD Players to Target: farlig ($12,000 Captain, $8,000 Flex), STYKO ($9,300 Captain, $6,200 Flex)
  • FNC Players to Target: Brollan ($12,900 Captain, $8,600 Flex), KRIMZ ($11,400 Captain, $7,600 Flex)

Gen.G (0-0) vs. 100 Thieves (0-0)

The final match of the slate opens Group B in North America, as GenG take on the Oceanic outfit of 100 Thieves. The North American clash looks to be the closest of the day, as GenG, in excellent form, will look to continue that run as they open their DreamHack Masters Spring account. 100 Thieves, on the other hand, have been inconsistent at best as they look to turn around what has been a weak 2020. Leading the charge for GenG will be autimatic and koosta, the two Americans combining with BnTeT to provide the firepower Gen.G have needed to sit near the top of North America. 100 Thieves will look towards Gratisfaction, the star AWPer of the Oceanic side, and jks, their leading rifler, to provide the firepower to take down a high-flying Gen.G side. This match might not be decided by the stars, though, with s0m, jkaem, and Liazz all providing the depth that both sides need to get over the edge in tight maps. If 100 Thieves can bring their full firepower to the forefront, this match should be incredibly close; if not, Gen.G will continue their march to the No. 1 spot in North America.

  • GenG Players to Target: koosta ($10,500 Captain, $7,000 Flex), BnTeT ($10,500 Captain, $7,000 Flex)
  • 100T Players to Target: jks ($10,800 Captain, $7,200 Flex), jkaem ($9,600 Captain, $6,400 Flex)
