DraftKings LoL: Saturday LEC Cheat Sheet

Games (EDT)

  • 11:00 a.m: Rogue vs SK Gaming
  • 11:50 a.m: Vitality vs Origen
  • 12:40 p.m: Fnatic vs Schalke 04
  • 1:30 p.m: G2 Esports vs Excel Esports
  • 2:20 p.m: Misfits vs Mad Lions

RGE vs. SK

Rogue started off Friday's match playing a macro style of game where only four kills between both teams happened in the first half of the game. Rogue were able to pull out the win after some team fights didn't go their way because of this Marco play, and this should be a big edge for them. The pace of team fights might pick up here because SK is a team that likes to fight when they can. I still see this game being a low-scoring affair when all said in done.

Prediction to Win: Rogue

Vit vs. OG

Vitality lost a pretty disappointing game to Excel on Friday where they should have won due to mistakes on the Excel side. Special missed multiple Oriana ultimates where Vitality should have been able to win team fights but failed to capitalize. I don't see Origen playing as sloppy as Excel yesterday, so the path to victory for Origen is a good clean Macro style game that they specialize in. This is another game that is likely to be low-scoring because of the teams involved.

Prediction to Win: Origen

  • Origen Players to Target: Upset ($8,200), Nukeduck ($7,400), Origen Team ($5,200)

FNC vs. S04

Fnatic finally broke their four-game

FNC vs. S04

Fnatic finally broke their four-game losing streak Friday against SK while also innovating during drafts. Rekkles looked good on Syndra, but I'm still curious to see when he will play an ADC. It looks like Schalke still need a lot of work to get their first win, and the only bright spot for Schalke has been the early game. That being said, teams have just been drafting scaling comps and know they can out team-fight Schalke late, which Fnatic should do Saturday.

Prediction to Win: Fnatic

  • Fnatic Players to Target: Rekkles ($8,400), Nemesis ($7,800), Fnatic Team ($5,800)

G2 vs. XL

Well, Spring G2 is back? If you had the player names turned off, that looked like Spring G2 just taking all the kills and doing it with a breeze. Caps put up a dominating performance Friday, scoring 58 points in the non-captain spot; I do, however, think Caps will never get the Kogmaw again after that performance. P1noy was also pretty impressive and fit right in with the G2 squad. G2 will dominate this match, and I expect them to score well if Excel decides to fight with G2 instead of running away.

Prediction to Win: G2

  • G2 Players to Target: Everyone on G2

MSF vs. MAD

Mad Lions had another great performance against Schalke, but the path to victory wasn't something I was expecting. Mad Lions got down in gold and kills early on, but they were waiting for the mid to late game for the team to scale while the Yummi healed everyone on the team. Mad Lions became un-killable in the mid game and made the gold lead from Schalke disappear quickly. Mad Lions love to team fight and are smart about when to do it, which leads to big points when all members are involved.

  • Prediction to Win: Mad Lions
  • Mad Lions Players to Target: Everyone on Mad Lions
