NFL Picks: Bucs, Bills, Browns, 49ers, Giants and Cardinals

This article is part of our NFL Picks series.

Last week was a solid one for the Staff. We went 3-2-1 on unanimous picks, but one of the losses was the Texans (thanks to Derrick Henry getting a 75-yard TD rather than taking a knee), and the push was on the Giants who we locked in at plus seven before the Geno Smith news that pushed the line to nine. Majority picks went 10-5-1, and everyone but Stopa was over .500. Pianowski still leads the overall by six games.

This week we have six more unanimous picks, the Buccaneers, Bills, Browns, 49ers, Giants and Cardinals. Both Pianowski and Erickson have the Cardinals as their best bets, and Stopa and DDD took two other unanimous picks, the Browns and 49ers, respectively, as theirs. My best bet, the Dolphins, was taken by everyone but DDD.

EricksonI distrust Bruce Arians and Blaine Gabbert, sure, but I don't see how Tennessee is a road favorite here. I distrust them (and Marcus Mariota) more.
PianowskiArizona's defense has quietly come around in the second chunk of the year, and there is nothing special about this Tennessee team; the coaching staff, in particular, is leaving points on the field every week. I'm the chucklehead who keeps picking the Chiefs, though in this case, it's because I think Oakland is even more untrustworthy.
LissI like the slate as a whole, but I don't love any particular game. I have a Dolphins feeling, and the line is massive especially without Rob Gronkowski. I also like the Browns, Raiders, Redskins and Broncos a bit.
StopaI feel strongly about the Browns, Cardinals and Dolphins (no Gronk)... Why, exactly, are the Packers giving more than a FG on the road? The Browns young weapons on offense should carry them to victory this week. Cue up underpriced Josh Gordon in all DFS formats... Parlaying the money lines of Browns and Cardinals is on my radar... So many Ravens-Steelers games have gone down to the wire and been decided by three. PIT is on a short week and might be looking ahead to NE next week... I also like under 53.5 in the Superdome. Don't be misled by the name brands; Falcons and Saints are both driven by defense.
Del DonSan Francisco has quietly gotten healthier on defense of late and most importantly, now employs Jimmy Garoppolo at quarterback. He's the truth. I'll happily take the three points... I also like the Cardinals, and I'll tease the Steelers and Patriots.
