Produces 52 yards
WRTennessee Titans
October 10, 2021
Johnson caught three of five targets for 52 yards against Jacksonville on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Johnson is somewhat convincing in his role as a downfield specialist for the Titans, and Sunday he provided meaningful production as they played without Julio Jones (hamstring). The Titans might need him to stretch the field again against Buffalo in Week 6 if Jones isn't able to return by then, but if Jones is active then Johnson is unlikely to draw more than a handful of snaps off the bench. Sufficient as he might be in his specialist role, Johnson probably can't take on much volume as a receiver.

2018
After logging 17 receptions for 277 yards and two touchdowns over the course of eight games in 2019, Johnson was re-signed by the Colts for the coming season. Injuries at the wideout position led to added opportunities for Johnson last year, but the 25-year-old figures to work behind T.Y. Hilton, Parris Campbell, Zach Pascal and Michael Pittman once Indy takes the field again. It's a playing context that makes Johnson a long shot to emerge as a reliable fantasy option in 2020.
Johnson underwent offseason surgery on a torn ligament in his right ankle which ended his 2018 season in October. He played in five games last season, catching six of his eight targets for 102 yards and a touchdown. However, he's in a battle for a reserve receiver role in camp and may not make the final roster.
Headed west with a ring, Johnson was traded from Philly and later signed to a one-year deal. One would think the Seahawks are impressed with Johnson's potential since they gave up elite pass rusher Michael Bennett in addition to a swap of picks. Still, Johnson largely is unproven with just five receptions for 45 yards and no touchdowns in 2017. With the additions of Brandon Marshall and Jaron Brown as well, Johnson likely will stay in a special teams role.
