Remains perfect in UFC
FlyweightUFC
February 3, 2024
Silva defeated Viviane Araujo via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Silva improves to 5-0 with the UFC. This was not the dominant effort we have seen from her in the past, although she certainly had her moments. Natalia's style of fighting is similar to Stephen Thompson. She's employs a karate-style attack with plenty of kicks and laser-fast hands. The difference in striking speed between these two was laughable. Silva isn't much of a grappler, and she spent too much of this fight being controlled by Araujo along the fence. At age 27, she remains one of the brightest prospects in a division severely lacking depth.

Stays unbeaten in UFC
FlyweightUFC
August 20, 2023
Silva defeated Andrea Lee via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC 292 on Saturday in Boston.
ANALYSIS
Silva improved to 4-0 in the UFC and did so by dismantling a veteran in Lee, albeit one on a losing skid. Silva won the striking battle in terms of both volume and accuracy in each of the three rounds of what was essentially a 15-minute kickboxing match. Not only did she get off first while Lee struggled to get inside, but Silva landed the far more damaging shots as well. At 26 years old, it appears Silva is ready for a significant step up in competition.
Scheduled to fight Lee
FlyweightUFC
June 14, 2023
Silva will fight Andrea Lee in a flyweight bout scheduled for UFC 292 at Boston on Aug 19, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
If this fight comes to fruition, it would be Silva's first UFC pay-per-view fight. Including her success in other promotions, a win over Lee would improve Silva's winning streak to 10. As for her opponent, she is looking to redeem herself after a tight split-decision loss to Maycee Barber back in March.
Dominates as massive favorite
FlyweightUFC
May 20, 2023
Silva defeated Victoria Leonardo via TKO (strikes) at 2:58 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
This is exactly how a fight is supposed to unfold when one competitor enters as upwards of a -1000 favorite, as Silva was here. The Brazilian unloaded with a massive combination of punches, followed by a high kick, which mercifully forced referee Kerry Hatley to step in. Silva's been spotless in her first three UFC bouts, but all three of those victories have come against middling competition (Leonardo, Tereza Bleda, Jasmine Jasudavicius), meaning we won't get a feel for Silva's future potential until she faces a bit better opponent, which presumably should happen her next time out.

Overall, she has won her first to fights with the company. Her opponent, Leonardo, is ranked No. 47 in the flyweight division, and coming off a win over Mandy Bohm.
