Santos has agreed to make his UFC debut in a bantamweight fight at UFC 273 against Julio Arce, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
ANALYSIS
After three straight cancelled bouts, Santos will be making his UFC debut and fighting for the first time since December 2019. Carrying a solid 10-1 career record, "Willycat" will face Arce who has been inconsistent to say the least. Arce has won just two of his last five bouts including a second round TKO loss to Yadong Song in his most recent fight on Nov. 13.

Withdraws from upcoming fight

Santos withdrew from his upcoming fight set for Oct. 16 against Marcelo Rojo for undisclosed reasons, Nolan King of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
There haven't been any more details released surrounding Santos' withdrawal but he'll now have to wait to make his UFC debut. It's unclear if and when the 26-year-old could be re-booked for another fight.

ANALYSIS
Santos' previous opponent, Timur Valiev, withdrew with an undisclosed injury. The bamtamweight Santos will now take on Rojo, who's last fight was a TKO loss to Charles Jourdain in March. Santos is at a one-inch height disadvantage against his new opponent.
