Will now fight Godinez
Reed will now take on Lupita Godinez at Noche UFC on Sept. 16, ESPN's Carlos Contreras Legaspi reports.
ANALYSIS
This is the third time that Reed's opponent has changed, as Cnythia Calvillo and Iasmin Lucindo have since backed out. Godinez will be coming into this one with plenty of momentum, as she has a 5-3 record and has won her last three events. Reed is still figuring things out but showed a lot of promise in a win against Jinh Yu Frey in June.

Fighting new opponent
Reed will face off against Iasmin Lucindo at a UFC event on Sept. 16, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Reed will no longer face off against Cynthia Calvillo after the 36-year-old fighter withdrew due to unspecified reasons. The 30-year-old American, who recently defeated Jinh Yu Frey in June, will prepare to take on a much younger opponent in Lucindo (21-years-old) this September.

Set to face Calvillo
Reed will face Cynthia Calvillo in a flyweight bout at a UFC event on Sept. 16 in Las Vegas, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports Friday.
ANALYSIS
Reed will look to stack victories for the first time in her UFC career. She's sitting at 3-3 in the promotion, and has alternated wins and losses since signing with the UFC. Most recently, she topped Jihn Yu Frey via unanimous decision back in June. Her opponent, meanwhile, has lost five straight bouts and is in desperate need of a victory.

Rebounds following slow start
Reed defeated Jinh Yu Frey via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC on ESPN 46 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Reed deserves credit for figuring things out here following a slow start. She had plenty of success on the feet for the duration of the bout, but spent far too much time in the opening frame on her back. She gave up another takedown in Round 2, but all three judges felt her overwhelming edge in the striking department was enough to win the stanza. The final frame, Reed's best, wasn't close. Already 30 years of age, Reed's ceiling is extremely low, but she's done well to forge a .500 record in her first half-dozen fights with the company.

Next matchup set
Reed agreed to fight Jinh Yu Frey at UFC's June 3 event, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Reed was defeated by Loma Lookboonmee in February and has alternated wins and losses in five bouts since making her UFC debut in 2021. Frey is 2-4 since joining the promotion and has lost her past two fights at the hands of Polyana Viana and Vanessa Demopoulos.
