Slated to face Al-Selwady
LightweightUFC
August 26, 2025
Camilo will take on Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady in a lightweight bout at UFC 321 on October 25 in Abu Dhabi, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Camilo is 0-1 in the UFC after losing to Gabe Green via Rear Naked Choke in his debut with the promotion back in May. His opponent is also 0-1, and is coming off three straight cancelled fights, so both fighters' anticipation should be extremely high for this one. Only one can walk out of the Octagon with their first win.

Taps out in UFC debut
LightweightUFC
May 17, 2025
Camilo lost to Gabriel Green via submission (face crank) at 3:43 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Making his UFC debut as a -225 favorite, Camilo looked excellent right up until the finish. He had Green in all sorts of trouble midway through Round 2, threatening with both an armbar and triangle choke, but Green managed to survive and reverse position and Camilo was eventually forced to tap. There were plenty of positives to take away from this performance despite the end result, and at age 24, it's reasonable to expect further improvements from Camilo on a fight-by-fight basis.
Making UFC debut in May
LightweightUFC
April 6, 2025
Camilo will make his UFC debut against Gabriel Green at a UFC event in Las Vegas on May 17, per Alex Behunin of MMAMania.com.
ANALYSIS
Camilo will head into the bout riding a six-fight win streak across promotions. The 24-year-old Brazilian will look to use his youth to take down the more experienced American. With both of Camilo's professional losses coming via submission, he will have to remain wary of Green and his perfect 6-0 professional record in submission finishes.

December 16, 2024
Camilo has been signed by the UFC, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
The signing was officially relayed by UFC President Dana White in the UFC Tampa post-fight press conference, as White was impressed by his Saturday victory over Dorobshokh Nabotov under the banner of the South Korea-based promotion, Z Fight Night. He's also competed for Fury FC and various other regional promotions, accumulated a six-fight winning streak that led up to his signing. The company has yet to announce a date or opponent for his debut.
