Entering have lost four of five and almost certainly fighting for his job, Osbourne didn't do enough to win. It's as simple as that. He had his moments, all of which came on the feet, but every single time he began to gain some momentum, Idiris shot a takedown and dragged him to the mat. Ode defended well on the ground, but all the control time he allowed to his opponent limited his ability to generate any consistent offense of his own. It's very difficult to see any path forward for a 34-year-old that has struggled as badly as Osbourne has in recent years.

He couldn't get the former title contender out of there, however, and was out-pointed over the final 10 minutes, which saw very little action. Osbourne had a huge opportunity here to take this fight on short notice against a ranked opponent, but he ultimately fell to 1-4 in his last five fights.
