Set to face Taira
FlyweightUFC
March 10, 2024
Elliott will face Tatsuro Taira in a flyweight bout at UFC Vegas 92 on May 18, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Elliott is a former UFC title challenge and the winner of TUF 24, and he returns to the octagon after his latest fight ended in a win over Su Mudaerji via technical submission at UFC Fight Night on Dec. 9. Elliott has gone 2-1 over his last three fights, but at 37 years of age, he might have a tough time dealing with a quick opponent in Taira.

Wins on four days' notice
FlyweightUFC
December 9, 2023
Elliott defeated Su Mudaerji via technical submission (arm-triangle choke) at 4:02 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
We last saw Elliott in late-October getting submitted by rising star Muhammad Mokaev late in Round 3. He accepted this fight literally four days ago following the withdrawal of Allan Nascimento and picked up a nice paycheck and win bonus before the holidays. He'll also take home a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus for his efforts. It came easily, quite frankly. Sure, Elliott absorbed a few big shots on the feet, but he eventually landed an easy single-leg takedown before schooling Su on the mat and putting him to sleep. Tim will be 37 years of age on Christmas Eve and simply doesn't have the all-around game to compete with the best flyweights in the world, but his grappling game remains on point, and he's going to blow through opponents with a hole in that area.

Elliott will compete against Su Mudaerji in a bantamweight fight at UFC Vegas 83 on Dec. 9, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Mudaerji was supposed to fight fellow flyweight Allan Nascimento, but he withdrew from the event. Elliott seems to have offered his services despite having a short time to prepare. At the very least, he has a second chance to end his 2023 on an excellent note.
Taps out late in UFC 294 loss
FlyweightUFC
October 21, 2023
Elliott lost to Muhammad Mokaev via submission (arm-triangle choke) at 3:03 of Round 3 at UFC 294 on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
ANALYSIS
Two of the three judges had Elliott up 20-18 heading into Round 3, which seems nearly impossible to believe, but actually isn't all that shocking given some of the scorecards we have seen this evening. Tim was actually in dominant position early in the final frame before Mokaev essentially tossed him to his back and worked for the choke that ended the fight. This certainly didn't appear like a winnable fight for the 36-year-old Missouri native at the time of the stoppage, but apparently it was. Elliott drops to 4-2 in his past half-dozen bouts dating back to July 2020.

Elliot will take on Muhammad Mokaev in a flyweight bout at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi on Oct. 21, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports Friday.
ANALYSIS
Elliot is coming off a win over Victor Altamirano via unanimous decision back in June. That victory pushed his UFC record to 8-10, and he'll aim to get one step closer to .500 against Mokaev, who is undefeated with a UFC record of 4-0 and considered one of the best young talents in the sport.

Elliott defeated Victor Altamirano via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) at UFC on ESPN 46 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
If you've seen one Elliott fight, you've seen them all. Known as one of the best conditioned athletes in the sport, Tim again used his endless gas tank to make life miserable for his opposition. He fired off seven takedown attempts, landing six. Those half-dozen successful tries turned into 11:13 worth of control time, ensuring Elliott would be walking out of the UFC Apex with the win. Tim wasn't happy with his performance afterwards, saying he had some stomach problems in training camp, in addition to the well-publicized problems in his personal life of late. You wouldn't know it by his effort inside the Octagon, however. Elliott has won four of five dating back to July 2020.
