Best Bets for Commanders at Packers on TNF | Commanders +3.5 (-110)

The Green Bay Packers impressed in Week 1 with a 27-13 victory over the reigning NFC North champion Detroit Lions. Against a powerful Detroit offense, Green Bay held Jared Goff and Co. to less than 250 yards and without a touchdown until the game's final minute.

On a short week, however, Washington and Daniels provide a unique challenge. The Commanders are coming off a 21-6 win over the New York Giants in the opener but were more dominant than the final score would indicate. Washington finished with 432 yards of offense and had drives at the end of each half end in the red zone. Given the potency of Washington's offense, expect this one to be close throughout.

On paper, the teams appear relatively even. Despite each winning by multiple scores last week, Washington and Green Bay are used to playing close games. Including the postseason, Washington had six games decided by three points or less last season and another in overtime. The Packers had six games decided by three or less during the regular season last year.

Best Bets for Commanders at Packers on TNF | Over 48 (-110)

The defenses shined last week for both the Commanders and Packers but on a short week, expect there to be more offense this week. As mentioned before, Washington left points on the field against the Giants. Both teams ranked in the top 10 in total offense last season.

Expect the scoring for this one to be at least in the 20s for both teams. The Packers twice played Thursday games last season and hit the 30-point mark in each of those contests.

Best Bets for Commanders at Packers on TNF | Washington ML (+155)

In a contest between two teams expected to compete for the NFC, this one should be close. While Green Bay is a slight favorite at historic Lambeau Field, Washington stands a strong chance of pulling an upset. At +155, the Commanders seem like a worthwhile wager.

Dating back to last season and including the playoffs, Washington is 4-1 in its last five road games and 2-1 in its last three as a road underdog. The Commanders were 5-3 on the road during the regular season in 2024.

Commanders at Packers Picks

  • Washington +3.5 (-110)
  • Washington/Green Bay OVER 48 points (-110)
  • Washington ML (+155)

Best Events to Use the Fanatics Sportsbook Promo for Sept. 11

  • College Football: NC State at Wake Forest. The college football week will begin with an ACC contest between a pair of 2-0 teams. The Wolfpack are more than a touchdown favorite on the road for a rivalry in which four of the last six matchups have been decided by four points or less.
  • MLB: Detroit Tigers at New York Yankees. Two of the American League's best teams will go at it at Yankee Stadium. Cam Schlitter will be on the hill for the Yankees.
  • MLB: New York Mets at Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies have run away with the National League East but for a Mets team clinging to the final wild card spot, this will be a pivotal road series.
  • WNBA: Golden State Valkyries at Minnesota Lynx. The WNBA regular season wraps up with a contest between two playoff-bound teams in what could be a potential first-round matchup.
