Although he recorded four fewer goal contributions in 2024 compared to 2023, Klich still had a productive season. He took fewer shots and created fewer chances, but he took far more corners (141) and recorded more crosses (216, 79 accurate) than he did in 2023. Klich started the season in defensive midfield before finding a place in central midfield and staying there for the rest of the season, despite numerous formation changes. This stability allowed him to establish his role in the team and perform on both ends of the pitch. Even though he turns 35 years old in June, Klich heads into the 2025 season as D.C. United's most important creative player and that role should see him have another productive season.
