Best WNBA Bets Today: Thursday, August 7

Allisha Gray Over 27.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-106) at Chicago Sky

FanDuel Sportsbook, 4:05 p.m. CT

Jason Shebilske: Thursday's matchup between the Dream and Sky carries some risk that the score could get out of hand since Atlanta has secured wins by double-digit margins in each of the first two meetings between the teams. However, if the Dream are going to thrive again Thursday, they'll presumably lean heavily on Gray, especially since Maya Caldwell and Brittney Griner will be unavailable. The Sky have given up the most points, the fifth-most rebounds and the sixth-most assists to opposing guards of any team in the league, and Gray has hit the over on this mark in each of her last three appearances.

Naz Hillmon Over 12.5 Points (-104) at Chicago Sky

FanDuel Sportsbook, 4:10 p.m. CT

Jason Shebilske: Similar to Gray's outlook, this line carries some risk in case the Dream get out to a commanding lead early, but the Sky have also given up the most points to opposing forwards of any team in the league this season. Hillmon has been productive on the scoreboard recently, scoring at least 14 points in each of her last four appearances, the last two of which have been as a starter in Brittney Griner's absence. Griner will be unavailable once again Thursday, so Hillmon should continue to see plenty of looks from the floor, especially against a Sky defense that will be playing without Angel Reese.

Kelsey Plum Over 5.5 Assists (-120) vs. Connecticut Sun

DraftKings Sportsbook, 4:15 p.m. CT

Jason Shebilske: Plum's assist line is the same across the major sportsbooks ahead of Thursday's matchup, but the odds on DraftKings are much better than the odds elsewhere, including FanDuel at -148 and BetMGM at -135. Plum has recorded at least six assists in each of her last seven appearances, including an 11-assist performance against the Fever on Tuesday. Although the last time Plum was held to the under on this mark was against the Sun on July 13, she bounced back later that month with six assists against Connecticut on July 24.
