Falls in Round 1
MiddleweightUFC
August 10, 2025
Anders lost to Christian Leroy Duncan via TKO (punches) at 3:53 of Round 1 at UFC Vegas 109 on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Anders had to fight off adversity early, as he was poked in the eye and kicked in the groin, which both required stoppages in the early minutes. His opponent also got away with another groin shot that went unnoticed, as well as a fence grab. Anders did his best to fire off knees, but he ran into a spinning elbow that proved to be the beginning of the end. Anders had his arms down and was taking a barrage of shots before referee Mark Smith rightfully rushed in to call the action off. Anders is now 38 years old and has openly talked about retirement, but if he does opt to stick around, the company will have to be careful with who it matches him up against.

Knocks out Chris Weidman
MiddleweightUFC
December 7, 2024
Anders defeated Chris Weidman via TKO (strikes) at 4:51 of Round 2 at UFC 310 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
The bar is fairly low, but that's the biggest win of Anders' career, and it comes at age 37. It almost didn't happen at all. Eryk was dropped by Weidman in Round 1 and managed to survive. Luckily for Anders, the former UFC Middleweight Champion appeared to waste all his energy going for an early Round 2 guillotine attempt. Once Anders slipped out, Weidman was dead tired and unable to defend himself from bottom position. Referee Mark Smith finally stopped the bout just second before Round 2 ended. Eryk has been a .500 fighter over his last six bouts. Expect that trend to continue moving forward.

Anders will take on Chris Weidman in a middleweight bout at UFC 310 on Dec. 7, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Anders' fight with Weidman was initially slated to occur on Nov. 16, but it wound up getting cancelled. No matter; the fighters will get to step into the octagon against one another just a few weeks later. Both are coming off wins the last time they fought in the UFC, with Anders' most recent victory coming over Bruno Silva.

Anders is scheduled to compete against fellow middleweight Chris Weidman at UFC 309 in New York City on Nov. 16, per Mike Bohn of MMAJunkie.com.
ANALYSIS
Anders' next opponent is arguably his biggest in terms of name value, a former UFC Middleweight Champion who most recently defeated Bruno Silva. Anders is coming off an impressive win of his own, a decision victory over Jamie Pickett. Not only will Anders get an opportunity to defeat a former UFC champion, but he can do it at the UFC's annual MSG event.
Wrestling game leads to win
MiddleweightUFC
March 2, 2024
Anders defeated Jamie Pickett via unanimous decision (29-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Anders fought reasonably well in a unanimous decision defeat to Marc-Andre Barriault last June. He returned here against an opponent in Pickett that entered having lost four straightm and Anders looked quite awful despite emerging with the win. The most notable blow of the fight went to Pickett with a Round 1 knockdown. Anders was able to get his wrestling game going consistently after recovering, landing 5-of-13 takedowns for 10:08 worth of control time, but Eryk somehow landed just 23 significant strikes despite his constant positional advantage. In short, Anders won this fight because he was facing an extremely low-level opponent, not because he accomplished anything of note. Set to turn 37 years old in April, Anders has alternated wins and losses in his last four bouts.
