And then there was one. Weekly leagues have one last chance to set lineups. Teams to target include the Nationals and Phillies as a Tuesday twinbill yields eight games for each. The Nationals are especially enticing since they're battling for a wild card and likely will need to play their studs the majority of the week.
Only five teams play seven games, including the Red Sox, White Sox, Tigers, Marlins and Mets. Boston has stated now that they're eliminated they'll be giving frequent rest to the regulars.
Amazingly, three teams have only five games on the schedule during the final week. These include the Braves, Royals and Yankees.
As always, these are preliminary. Please check back Sunday night for the final version, though keep in mind next week's schedule will be in daily flux.
