Weekly Hitter Rankings: Royal Treatment

This article is part of our Weekly Hitter Rankings series.

In what may be the busiest week of the season, 18 teams have the full monty of seven games with the remaining dozen slated for six. Kansas City will spend the entire week at Kaufmann Stadium so this is the rare week to get all your Royals bats in your active lineup. The Indians and Twins will be living out of their suitcases this week with seven road affairs.

If you design your lineup around platoon splits, the Twins face four southpaws while the Mets have seven right-handers on tap.

The first interleague series of the week is a short two-game affair with Oakland heading to the desert to face Arizona, without its designated hitter. Cleveland also will be devoid of the DH when it visits its cross-state rival for a weekend set in Cincinnati.

These rankings are preliminary. Please pop back Sunday night for the weekly refresh after teams announce their formal plans for the week.
