England vs. Pakistan: Third ODI Preview

England and Pakistan will be ready to face off in the third One-Day International (ODI) in the five-match series in Bristol on Tuesday. The first game of the series was washed out while the home side came out on top with a narrow 12-run win in the second match. County Ground in Bristol will be used as the venue for the contest, which will be hosting its 17th ODI on Tuesday. Highest team score of 369-9 at the venue in a 50-over contest was registered by England in the match against West Indies in 2017, whereas lowest team score of 92 was registered by Zimbabwe while playing against the home side in 2003. Highest individual score at the ground in an ODI of 140 not out was registered by legendary Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar in 1999, whereas best bowling figures of 5-25 was registered by the New Zealand's great Sir Richard Hadlee in 1983.

Therefore, the game will be an important one for the visitors who will need a win to keep their hopes alive of a series win. In the batting department, the team will be once again relying on top three of Imam Ul-Haq, Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam to score bulk of the runs, whereas on the bowling front, the onus will be on the likes of pacers Hasan Ali and Shaheen Shah Afridi to provide timely breakthroughs. There are multiple changes expected in the playing eleven where veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik and left-arm pacer Junaid
