VIT vs. XL

The first match of the day is between two of the bottom teams in the LEC, with Vitality tied for seventh and Excel sitting in ninth. Vitality are only averaging 13 kills per win this season, which is pretty low scoring. The bot lane of Vitality is the position to target, as Comp leads in kills this Summer while both Comp and Labrov tie in kill percentage at 78 percent. Vitality, on the other hand, gives up 17 kills when they lose, so if Excel does find a way to win this game it could be a high-scoring affair for Excel. Looking at Excel, Patrik leads the team in kills with 20 and Tore at support leads the team in kill participation at 74.5 percent making the bot lane a good target for Excel.

Prediction to Win: Vitality

  • Vitality Players to Target: Comp ($7,800) Labrov ($5,600)
  • Excel Players to Target: Patrik ($7,200) Tore ($4,800)

MAD vs. S04

Mad Lions have looked absolutely incredible this Summer, sitting at 6-1 while only dropping one game to G2, which is always be a tough matchup for any team. Meanwhile, S04 have looked very bad, and this team might not win a game this split. There are instances of players not being on the same page, and players

MAD vs. S04

Mad Lions have looked absolutely incredible this Summer, sitting at 6-1 while only dropping one game to G2, which is always be a tough matchup for any team. Meanwhile, S04 have looked very bad, and this team might not win a game this split. There are instances of players not being on the same page, and players are getting swapped around week to week to see if something sticks. The Mad Lions team slot will be a good spot to target since this should be a stomping where Mad Lions will get every objective on the map without much contest. Players to look at on Mad Lions would be Humanoid, who has 32 kills, in the mid lane, while the bot lane would also be in consideration due to Carzzy and Kaiser being tied with the highest kill percentage at 72.

Prediction to Win: Mad Lions

  • Mad Lions Players to Target: Humanoid ($8,000), Carzzy ($8,200), Mad Lions Team ($6,00)

FNC vs. SK

This match will be an interesting one to watch because if you asked me at the start of the season who would win this game it would be Fnatic, no question, but with the recent performance and drafts from Fnatic I need to see them bounce back before I can confidentially say they will win. SK Gaming has one more win than Fnatic and are in a tie for third place. SK Gaming has taken down big names like G2 and Origen, which are games they lost in Spring. On the side of SK Gaming, Crownshot has been the leader oin both kills (25) and kill participation (79 percent). The second-best player to target for kill participation would be ZaZee. Now, if Fnatic can get a good draft and play back in spring form they would be able to take this match, and Rekkles and Selfmade would likely be the biggest beneficiaries if that happens.

Prediction to Win: SK Gaming

RGE vs. OG

The fourth game of the slate featuring Rouge and Origen will be the game to watch because both teams are near the top of the standings, with Rogue having one game over Origen. As far as Rogue wins this season, they have come against lower-ranked teams, and their two losses are to G2 and Mad Lions. Both of these teams are averaging about 15 kills per game when they win, but the other stat that might be telling is that in losses, Origen and Rogue give up the fewest kills in the LEC. This seems like a game where both teams are going to play very safe and limit the mistakes that could throw the game out of whack. Looking at Rogue, Larssen in the mid lane holds the highest kill count on the team with 35 kills and the highest kill participation at 76 percent. Vander at support holds the next-highest kill participation at 71 percent and will score high when Rogue has a high kill game.

Prediction to Win: Rogue

MSF vs. G2

I'm starting this match breakdown with the news that Perkz will not be playing as he takes time off for personal reasons. P1noy for G2 will be starting against Misfits and has been the backup at G2 since January. P1noy also has a famous clip of him killing DoubleLift multiple times during Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) way back in 2014, and if you have the time, I recommend watching the clip to see why I'm excited to see him play. Looking at the rest of G2, Caps in the mid lane has the highest kill participation on the team with 70 percent. Wunder in the top lane leads the team in kill since Perkz isn't playing, and he comes in with 21 kills this split. Even with P1noy starting for Perkz I see G2 winning this game.

Prediction to Win: G2 Esports
