We're back with NFL analysis and NFL Week 7 odds at RotoWire.com.
RotoWire used ChatGPT to see what the AI tool would predict the results to be for each game during Week 7 of the NFL season. We ran 10 simulations for each matchup, requesting AI to produce the results with game scores for each simulation using current NFL rosters as of Oct. 15. We also had it provide the margin of victory for each matchup. RotoWire.com, your source for the best NFL betting promo codes, found these simulated results from AI:

Teams on a bye: Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills
These AI projections don't always match point spreads or moneylines that NFL betting operators offer each week. If you try to duplicate this experiment, you'll get different results based on how the query is worded.
Which Week 7 Games Are Too Close To Call?
There were three games this week that came out split after 10 projections: the Washington Commanders at the Dallas Cowboys, the Houston Texans at the Seattle Seahawks and the London game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Los Angeles Rams.
This feels like a moment where the Dallas Cowboys could make a statement against an NFC East rival, or lose again and fade into oblivion for this season, taking their futures backers at NFL betting sites with them.
We don't need 10,000 words of analysis to decipher what's wrong with Jerry Jones' plaything. Dallas has the No. 1 offense in the NFL at 387.5 yards per game and is scoring 29.7 points per contest, third behind the Colts and Lions.
So why are the Cowboys 2-3-1, with their only wins coming against the two pathetic New York teams? Because they're worse on defense than they are good on offense. The Cowboys are last in yards allowed (411.7 per game) and No. 31 in points allowed (30.7 ppg), better than only the Ravens (32.3 ppg).
Only eight teams have fewer sacks than Dallas, which has 11. It seems the Cowboys could use an elite pass rusher because, if they got one, they surely would not screw up that situation. …
As for the Washington Commanders, their last-second defeat on Monday Night Football to Chicago continued a literal up-and-down pattern: Win, loss, win, loss, win, loss. If the Commanders can keep that pattern for one more week, they can all but bury their rival's playoff hopes.
Folks using the DraftKings promo code can get the Cowboys and 2.5 points at home, as of Oct. 15.
Other Week 7 NFL Games That Could Be Tight
Speaking of the NFC East, the Philadelphia Eagles have lost two in a row and now face another playoff contender.
The reigning Super Bowl champs travel to Minnesota to play the Vikings. If this were a playoff game, history would be on Philadelphia's side – the Eagles are 4-0 in the postseason against the Vikes. Minnesota is in a very tight race in the NFC North, as all four teams are within half a game of each other. ChatGPT favors the Eagles, slightly, 6-4.
At Caesars, the Eagles are still favored to win the division at -150 odds.
Two other games turned out 6-4 after 10 simulations. The Indianapolis Colts get another chance to prove they're for real as the team with the AFCs best record (5-1) travels west to face the Los Angeles Chargers. AI projects a slight edge to the hosts. And the 49ers have the same slim projected margin against the visiting Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football.
Week 7 NFL Projections Q&A
Q: How did ChatGPT simulate NFL Week 7 games?
A: RotoWire ran 10 simulations for every Week 7 matchup using ChatGPT, with rosters updated as of Oct. 15, 2025. Each game produced projected scores, a winner, and a calculated average margin of victory (MOV). This allowed us to compare not only who wins most often but also how decisively they win.
Q: Which teams dominated the ChatGPT simulations?
A: The most dominant teams in this week's projections were the Chiefs (9-1 over the Raiders), the Panthers (8-2 against the Jets), and Patriots (8–2 with a huge +11.0 visitor MOV against the Titans). Strong 7-3 showings also came from the Steelers (+6.9 visitor MOV against the Bengals), Packers (+7.0 visitor MOV against the Cardinals), Broncos (+7.6 home MOV against the Giants), Saints (against the Bears) and Browns (against the Dolphins).
Q: What were the closest or most balanced matchups in the simulations?
A: True toss-ups were Rams vs Jaguars, Commanders at Cowboys and Texans at Seahawks, which all turned out 5-5 after 10 simulations. Relatively tight series included Eagles at Vikings (6-4 for Philadelphia), Colts at Chargers (6-4 for Los Angeles), and Falcons at 49ers (6-4 for San Francisco).
