SLATE PREVIEW

Tampa Bay (vs. Chicago), NY Rangers (vs. San Jose), Edmonton (vs. Montreal), Winnipeg (vs. Seattle) and Florida (vs. Pittsburgh) are the biggest favorites on the Moneyline. The Over/Under for the Canadiens-Oilers is 6.5 goals, while the Blackhawks-Lightning, Penguins-Panthers, Red Wings-Islanders, Mammoth-Blues and Hurricanes-Avalanche project 6.0 goals to be scored. The other games anticipate 5.5 goals.

GOALIES

Thatcher Demko, VAN at NSH ($7,900): Demko has been solid to open the 2025-26 campaign, posting a 3-1-0 record while stopping 107 of the 116 shots he has faced. He also sports a mark of 5-2-1 with a 2.38 GAA and a .919 save percentage across eight previous regular-season outings against the Predators.

Dan Vladar, PHI at OTT ($7,400): Vladar is a great fit for the Flyers so far, earning a 3-1-0 record while turning aside 92 of 99 shots. He has a 1-0-1 record with one shutout in two previous career appearances versus the Senators.

VALUE PLAYS/ONE-OFFS

Jake Guentzel, TBL vs. CHI ($6,600); Guentzel has one goal on 21 shots this season while adding five assists (two on the power play). He is bound to heat up in the goal department eventually and has an affordable price tag for Thursday's slate. Guentzel had one goal, two helpers and seven shots in two games versus Chicago last season.

Clayton Keller, UTA at STL ($6,500): Keller has supplied two goals on nine shots and six assists during his three-game point streak. He has a multipoint effort in each contest. Keller has been productive against the Blues in the past, collecting 35 points (13 goals, 22 assists) in 32 previous regular-season outings, including two goals and four assists in four games last campaign.

Owen Tippett, PHI at OTT ($5,300): Tippett has lit the lamp five times in his past five games. He has four goals on 11 shots during his three-game scoring spree. Tippett could be a solid value play if his hot streak continues.

Anthony Cirelli, TBL vs. CHI ($4,600): Cirelli has compiled three goals, one assist and seven shots in his last four matches. He has considerable bang for the buck potential if he clicks with Brandon Hagel and Nikita Kucherov in Thursday's game against Chicago.

FORWARD LINE STACKS

Rangers vs. Sharks

Artemi Panarin (W - $8,100), Mika Zibanejad (C - $6,900), Will Cuylle (W - $4,100)

Following a sluggish start, Panarin has notched two goals on six shots and three assists in the last two games. Zibanejad has one goal, seven shots and two helpers during that two-game span, while Cuylle hasn't reached the scoresheet in the past five games despite having 12 shots on target.

Panarin and Zibanejad should remain hot in Thursday's meeting with the Sharks. San Jose has allowed a league-high 4.83 goals per game, making them an ideal opponent for the Rangers' struggling offense.

Red Wings at Islanders

Dylan Larkin (C - $7,400), Lucas Raymond (W - $6,100), Emmitt Finnie (W - $3,800)

Larkin is racking up points out of the gate, registering five goals on 21 shots and seven assists during his season-opening seven-game point streak. He has two goals and one assist with the man advantage during that time. Raymond has generated two goals and four helpers in his past four appearances, while Finnie has three goals and one assist in his last two outings.

Detroit's top line is firing on all cylinders, and the Islanders have allowed the fourth-most goals per game (3.67) this campaign.

DEFENSEMEN

Evan Bouchard, EDM vs. MTL ($6,900): Bouchard got his first point of the season in Tuesday's win over Ottawa. He earned a power-play assist while posting four shots on goal. Bouchard has 25 shots and 11 blocks through seven appearances this year. He should start to heat up soon, and he has eight points (two goals, six assists) in nine previous meetings with the Canadiens.

Matthew Schaefer, NYI vs. DET ($5,500): Schaefer has been all over the scoresheet to begin his NHL career, providing two goals and five assists during his six-game point streak. He has added 19 shots, five blocks and three power-play points (one goal, two assists) during that stretch.

Kris Letang, PIT at FLA ($3,700): Letang has three assists, including two on the power play, in his last two outings. He also has three shots and three blocks during that span. Letang possesses plenty of bang for the buck upside if that kind of category coverage continues for at least one more night.
