ANALYSIS
Petroski boasts a 7-1-0 overall record in MMA, but has started his UFC career with two consecutive wins. He stepped in last moment to face Hu Yaozong on Oct. 30, defeating him via submission (arm-triangle choke) in Round 3. The 30-year-old will take on Nick Maximov who won his last fight over Puna Soriano on Feb. 5 via split decision. Both Petroski and Maximov will look to take advantage of their impressive wrestling skills in the bout.

Remains perfect in UFC
Petroski defeated Hu Yaozong via submission (arm-triangle choke) at 4:46 of Round 3 at UFC 267 on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
ANALYSIS
Petroski is 30 years of age and has all of eight pro bouts under his belt following this one, but he is now a perfect 2-0 in the UFC following this rout of Hu. A physical middleweight, Petroski turned four successful takedowns into 9:39 worth of control time and six submission attempts. The finish came when he ended up in side control following a combination and was able to hook on the arm-triangle that ended the fight. Common sense would say Petroski's winning streak will be coming to an end sooner rather than later, but he has unquestionably performed well during his brief time with the company.

Late replacement at UFC 267
Petroski will step in on short notice to take on Hu Yaozong in a presumed middleweight matchup at UFC 267 on Oct. 30, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
ANALYSIS
Petroski looked strong in his August UFC debut against Michael Gilmore, picking up the third-round stoppage to move to 6-2-0 as a professional. He'll now draw a 26-year-old Chinese prospect who last saw UFC action in 2018 as a heavyweight. Petroski will give up three inches in height but also sports a one-inch reach advantage on paper. There are truly a wide range of potential outcomes here, but one item of note is that Petroski has yet to get the judges involved in any of his professional or exhibition fights.

Dominates in UFC debut
Petroski defeated Micheal Gillmore via TKO (strikes) at 3:12 of Round 3 at UFC on ESPN 30 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Petroski was submitted by Bryan Battle in the semifinals of The Ultimate Fighter 29 middleweight tournament, but the 30-year-old New Jersey native took his frustrations out on an over-matched Gillmore in the consolation bout. In a fight which lasted just over 13 minutes, Petroski finished with a 91-38 edge in total strikes landed, connected on 4-of-9 takedowns and racked up 7:38 worth of control time. It was a truly dominant effort, and it will be interesting to see how Petroski fares against presumably better competition his next time out.
