Dream11 Fantasy Soccer: Everton v. Leicester City Preview

This article is part of our Dream11 Fantasy Soccer series.

Game Preview

Everton have disappointed this season and currently sit 12th in the table with 41 points. The standings are tight, however, so the Toffees still have a shot at reaching the 2020-21 UEFA Europa League qualifiers, but they are running out of time to accomplish that goal. At the very least, they enter this game on a good run of form, since they have dropped just one of their last four contests (W1, D2, L1). On the other hand, Leicester City have set their sights on securing a spot in next year's UEFA Champions League, but their recent away form has left a lot to be desired (D2, L2 in their last four away from King Power Stadium). They are also W1, D2, L2 in their last five league matches, so they will need to make adjustments if they want to earn a positive result Wednesday. That being said, the Foxes were unscathed in their past two trips to Goodison Park (W1, D1).

Recent Form

Everton: W1, D2, L2

Leicester City: W1, D2, L2

Doubtful: James Maddison (hip)

Expected Lineups

Top Picks

Jamie Vardy, Leicester: The veteran striker is just one away from scoring his 100th Premier League goal, and he has found the back of the net in each of his last two trips to Goodison Park. He might struggle to have chances if James Maddison is ruled out, but he is a strong bet to produce. After all, he is currently the league's top scorer with 19 goals.

Richarlison, Everton: Richarlison has 10 goals and three assists this season – even though those figures do not make him the top scorer in his team, he has done enough to be a reliable fantasy asset regardless of the matchup. The Brazilian scored when these two sides met earlier this season.

Captain and Vice-Captain Options

  1. Jamie Vardy
  2. Richarlison
  3. Ben Chilwell
