Best WNBA Bets Today: Tuesday, August 28
Satou Sabally over 15.5 points (-115)
DraftKings Sportsbook, 10:15 a.m. CT
Kirien Sprecher: Sabally has reached this mark in six of her last nine games after missing an Aug. 3 matchup in Chicago. The Sky have struggled mightily this season, especially defensively, allowing 86.2 points per game (11th in the WNBA). Sabally has scored at least 15 points in each of the previous matchups against Chicago this season, including a 20-point outing in May.
Sonia Citron 2+ made three-pointers (-155)
DraftKings Sportsbook, 10:20 a.m. CT
Kirien Sprecher: Citron failed to make a three-pointer against Seattle on Sunday, snapping a 12-game streak with at least one. The rookie had also made at least a trio of three-pointers in four of her previous five appearances before the goose egg. After a three-day layoff to get her legs back, I expect Citron to bounce back from beyond the arc Thursday.
Kayla McBride over 13.5 points (-120)
DraftKings Sportsbook, 10:20 a.m. CT
Kirien Sprecher: McBride has scored at least 13 points in eight of her last 10 appearances, including three with 20-plus points. She's also scored at least 14 points in all three games against the Storm this season. I expect Seattle's fearsome frontcourt to focus its attention on Napheesa Collier in the point, allowing McBride a few open looks on the perimeter.
