Silvers completed 21 of 34 passes for 204 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the Dragons' 24-12 loss to the Renegades on Saturday. He also rushed five times for 15 yards.
Although it came in defeat, Silvers turned in an appreciably better effort than a Week 2 win over the Vipers, when he threw for just 91 yards on a 39.0 percent completion rate. Silvers bumped up his accuracy to the tune of a 62.0 percent success rate, and just as he'd done in a season-opening defeat to the Defenders, he tallied multiple scoring tosses. Silvers' rapport with Austin Proehl was also reminiscent of the Week 1 loss, with the Troy Product finding the sure-handed possession receiver for a 21-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter. Silvers appeared to restrengthen his grip on the starting job despite the loss, so he should be under center once again in a Week 4 road matchup against the BattleHawks next Saturday.
