Gardner (ankle) rushed eight times for 37 yards and failed to bring in any of his three targets in the Dragons' 24-12 loss to the Renegades on Saturday.
Gardner overcame the ankle issue he dealt with during the week to draw even with Trey Williams for the team lead in carries. Coach Jim Zorn continued to stick with a very close timeshare in the ground attack Saturday, which naturally makes the situation less than ideal for fantasy purposes. Gardner has been reasonably productive through the first three games, but his lack of a role in the air attack thus far dings his outlook compared to Williams and Kenneth Farrow. Gardner will try to improve his numbers across the board in a Week 4 matchup against the BattleHawks next Saturday.
