Cardale Jones
QuarterbackQB
Yanked in first quarter
QBDC
March 8, 2020
Jones was replaced by Tyree Jackson in the first quarter of Sunday's 15-6 win over the Battlehawks after tossing an interception.
ANALYSIS
After looking like the possible MVP front runner through the first two weeks, Jones produced two straight unimpressive outings where he tossed no touchdowns and five interceptions. Jones entered the game on a short leash, and he didn't make it out of the first quarter before being replaced by Jackson, who completed nine of 14 passes for 39 yards (2.8 yards per attempt) and a touchdown. Neither played well in this contest, so there will likely be a quarterback battle heading into Week 6's matchup against the Renegades.
