Key MLB Betting Trends and Matchups Analysis
Betting playoff baseball is a completely different animal as you have the best pitching, hitting, bullpens, etc. going against each other. Rotations are no longer lined up like they were in the last round, so we are seeing larger moneylines and totals.
There will be more bullpen games, so it is important to try and piece together what you think each team will do in regards to pitching. This also means the benches will come into play a lot more in a seven-game series.

Dodgers vs Blue Jays Best Bets and Predictions
Game 6 of the 2025 World Series takes place Friday in Toronto at Rogers Centre. The Blue Jays have a 3-2 lead over the Dodgers after a 6-1 win on Wednesday.
We get a Game 2 rematch with RHP Kevin Gausman taking the mound for the Blue Jays against Dodgers RHP Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Gausman pitched well in Game 2 until the Dodgers got to him in the 7th inning. Yamamoto pitched a complete game gem in Game 2, and manager Dave Roberts will lean on him heavily tonight, which will play into one of my player props.
The Dodgers opened as -130 road favorites with a total of 7.5 runs. The moneyline moved to -144 with initial money coming in on the Dodgers.
The Dodgers were -150 road favorites in Game 1, and they lost. They were -143 road favorites, and they won 5-1. In Games 3-5, which was were in Los Angeles, they closed around -190 to -200 home favorites
The pricing of this series has been heavily taxed on the Dodgers, but I think we are getting value in Game 6 because of the result in Game 2. The Jays lineup is the toughest in baseball, as they do not strikeout, and they initiate hard contact consistently. The Dodgers lineup is really struggling when you look beneath the surface.
I am not a believer in a "must-win" game, or "they cannot lose", in referencing the Dodgers but I think the strategy that Roberts will employ will lead them to a win, and we get an epic Game 7.
