Mavericks Obliterate Warriors, 126-91
The Dallas Mavericks defeated host Golden State Warriors, 126-91, at ORACLE Arena on Saturday.

It wouldn't have been surprising to see the Warriors win this game in blowout fashion but the Mavericks turned the tables on them here. In fact, a 37-22 first quarter really set the tone, as Dallas led by 28 points at the half and by 38 points heading into the fourth quarter. It was actually a wire-to-wire win for Dallas, leading by at least 35 points for the entirety of the fourth quarter. The Mavericks ended up shooting 53 percent from the field and 43 percent from three-point range while holding Golden State to 40 percent from the field and 13 percent (4-of-30) from long range. Dallas out-rebounded Golden State, 49-36, and out-assisted them, 33-22.

The Mavericks (29-44) got another triple-double from Luka Doncic, as he led the way with 23 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and three steals. Dirk Nowitzki amassed 21 points, five rebounds and two blocks. Jalen Brunson accrued 11 points, four rebounds and five assists while Maxi Kleber led the bench with 16 points and nine boards.

The Warriors (49-33) were led by Kevin Durant, as he tallied 25 points, five rebounds and four assists. DeMarcus Cousins amassed 19 points, six rebounds and three assists. Quinn Cook started for Stpehen Curry (rest) and provided seven points, six rebounds and seven assists. Kevon Looney was the only other player in double figures, as he led the bench with 12 points and three boards.

Golden State has to play again on Sunday, as they play host to the Detroit Pistons. As for Dallas, they return to action on Tuesday against the Sacramento Kings.
