Clippers Defeat Kings, 115-96
The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the visiting Sacramento Kings, 115-96, at Staples Center on Wednesday.

While there were seven ties and 12 lead changes in this game, Los Angeles rode a 34-19 third quarter to their victory. In fact, that allowed the Clippers to lead by at least 11 points for the final 15 minutes of play. Free-throw shooting was the difference, with Los Angeles connecting on 17-of-18 and Sacramento hitting just 5-of-12. In addition, the Clippers out-rebounded the Kings, 48-39. Los Angeles also outscored Sacramento in fastbreak points, 22-9, and in points off of turnovers, 29-13.

The Kings (5-10) were led by De'Aaron Fox, finishing with 25 points, four rebounds and seven assists. Buddy Hield amassed 13 points, two rebounds, three assists and three steals. Marvin Bagley III totaled 10 points and eight boards while Richaun Holmes generated eight points, seven rebounds and four assists. Glenn Robinson III led the bench with 14 points, two rebounds and two assists.

The Clippers (11-4) were led by Kawhi Leonard and his 32 points, three rebounds, five assists and six steals. Paul George tallied 19 points, seven rebounds, 12 assists and two blocks. Nicolas Batum compiled 11 points, three rebounds and three steals while Ivica Zubac led the bench with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Both teams return to action on Friday, with Los Angeles remaining home to face the Oklahoma City Thunder, while Sacramento returns home to face the New York Knicks.
