1. Taylor Bertolet, So., Texas A&M
Bertolet was inaccurate a year ago, missing seven PATs and nine field goals. And yet, he seems relatively unchallenged at A&M, and with the Aggies scoring at a comical pace Bertolet should be an elite fantasy kicker this year, perhaps even the nation's best.
2. Aaron Jones, Sr., Baylor
Jones had a rough year in 2012, making just 16 of his 27 field-goal attempts, 59.3 percent. The good news is Jones was perfect on 71 point-after tries, and he gets so many opportunities in Baylor's high-powered offense that he's still an elite fantasy option.
3. Chandler Catanzaro, Sr., Clemson
There aren't many safer bets in the nation than Cantazaro, who's flourished in the Tigers' spread attack. He's hit 53 and 59 PATs the last two seasons, while missing just six total field goals. Cantazaro has averaged 115 points the last two seasons, and is the rare kicker worth taking before the last round of your draft. With Tajh Boyd leading a high-powered offense, Catanzaro will be busy this year.
4. Justin Haig, Jr., Marshall
As a sophomore last season, Haig converted 13-of-16 field goals and made all 60 of his extra-point attempts. With the majority of the Marshall offense back, expect similar numbers in 2013.
5. Jeremiah Detmer, Jr., Toledo
The former walk-on has been impressive in his season-and-a-half as the Rockets place kicker. He connected on 5-of-6 attempts as a freshman in 2011 and converted 24-of-29 kicks last

6. Jaden Oberkrom, So., TCU
Oberkrom converted 22-of-30 field goal attempts and all 42 extra-point tries as a freshman last season. He also went 2-of-4 from beyond 50 yards and 9-of-10 from 40-49 yards, showing a strong leg. As for opportunity, the return of quarterback Casey Pachall and the possibility of a healthier backfield could lead to an improved Horned Frogs offense in 2013.
7. Ka'imi Fairbairn, So., UCLA
Fairbairn wasn't razor sharp as a first-year kicker in 2012, but he showed general promise and received 21 field-goal opportunities while making 56-of-59 extra points. He could be one of the better fantasy kickers in 2013 as the UCLA offense should be high powered with Brett Hundley leading the way at quarterback.
8. Mathew Sims, Sr., Northern Illinois
Sims is a fairly efficient kicker in one of the nation's most elite offenses, giving him an easy route to fantasy value. He attempted 19 field goals and 68 PATs last year, both of which he should at least match this year.
9. Ryan Bustin, Jr., Texas Tech
Bustin converted 17-of-24 kicks last season and connected on all 59 of his extra-point attempts. He holds some value based solely on the fact that he'll likely rank in the top 10 in PAT attempts again in 2013 in a fast-paced Texas Tech offense.
10. Michael Hunnicutt, Jr., Oklahoma
Hunnicutt stabilized an Oklahoma kicking game last season that had been unpredictable in recent years, making 17-of-21 field-goal attempts and missing two of 59 extra points. The loss of quarterback Landry Jones is of some concern, but the Oklahoma offense should again make Hunnicutt one of the nation's stronger fantasy kickers.
11. Ross Martin, So., Duke
Martin turned in a tremendous freshman campaign, nailing 46 PATs and 20-of-23 field goals, including 7-of-8 from 40-plus yards. He finished with 106 points, and while his extra-point tries may not be as plentiful this season, don't let the name on the front of the jersey scare you. Martin is one of the best kickers in the ACC.
12. Austin Lopez, So., San Jose State
Lopez converted all 17 of his field-goal attempts as a freshman last season. He might not replicate that same consistency in 2013, but he should receive plenty of field-goal and PAT chances given the Spartans' ability to move the ball effectively through the air.
13. Mitch Ewald, Sr., Indiana
Ewald had 20 field-goal attempts last season and 43 PATs but should see increased opportunities this year in an Indiana offense that seems to be realizing its potential. Ewald alspo showed a strong leg by making 5-of-7 kicks in the 40-yard range.
14. Warren Harvey, Jr., East Carolina
Harvey converted 15-of-20 field goals last season and made all 50 of his extra points. The East Carolina offense should provide him with more scoring chances this season as the Shane Carden-to-Justin Hardy connection moves at will. Harvey might turn out to be one of the better fantasy kickers this year.
15. Chris Boswell, Sr., Rice
Boswell enters his fourth year as the starting placekicker for the Owls. In his first three seasons, he converted 51-of-67 kicks (76.1 percent). Last season, his 23 makes ranked sixth in the nation, while his 28 attempts were eighth. Expect another busy season for Boswell.
16. Quentin Breshears, So., Fresno State
Breshears could be more efficient (80-percent FG, 90.5-percent PAT), but his fantasy value is inflated by a Fresno State offense that gave him 63 PATs last season, 12th in the nation. Breshears likely won't see a big jump in field-goal attempts (just 15 last season), but he'll again see healthy PAT opportunities.
17. Tony Miliano, Jr., Cincinnati
Miliano enters his third season as the Bearcats' full-time placekicker. Last season, he was 17-of-22 on field goal attempts and 51-of-53 on PATs. A coaching change could threaten Cincinnati's heretofore fast-paced offense, but the Bearcats are powerful enough to give Miliano plenty of fantasy value.
18. Trevor Romaine, Jr., Oregon State
Entering his third season as the starting kicker, Romaine is one of the nation's most efficient kickers. His 88.9 field-goal percentage ranked sixth last season among kickers with at least 15 attempts, and he was perfect on 45 PATs. Led by running back Storm Woods, Oregon State's offense could top the 32.5 points per game it scored last season.
19. Kyle Brindza, Jr., Notre Dame
Brindza ranked fourth in the nation last season with 31 field-goal attempts and should have a similar workload this season for the Irish. If he can improve his 74.2-percent accuracy, he could approach elite fantasy territory.
20. Jordan Williamson, Jr., Stanford
Williamson makes up in volume what he lacks in accuracy. A career 65.2-percent field-goal kicker, Williamson led the Pac-12 in field-goal attempts and makes last season, connecting on 17-of-27 kicks. Stanford's combination of great defense and effective ball-control offense gives him a lot of opportunities - he also had 46 PAT attempts last season.
