Neither team has a lot to play for in this matchup, as the Brothers already won the first half of the season while the Guardians remain fully committed to their rebuilding process and have already settled themselves at the bottom of the standings – at least in the first half of the CPBL season. The Brothers, who announced the arrival of Arturo Reyes for the second part of the campaign, will send Esmil Rogers to the mound; he hasn't pitched in the majors since May 9 and posted less-than-inspiring numbers with a 1-2 record and a 7.79 ERA. Chiang hasn't done it much better, though. Despite being one of the top young arms in the Guardians roster, he needs to turn things around quickly as he currently owns an inflated ERA of 7.14 in 2020.
