Fantasy Hockey Puckcast: Central Division Preview

For 2021, the NHL has realigned into four temporary divisions: North (Canada), East, West and Central. This week, Statsman and AJ preview the fantasy issues for each team in the Central Division. Specific topics include:

  • Carolina Hurricanes -- Paul's favorite player Jake Gardiner still stuck in the third pairing
  • Chicago Blackhawks -- Losing Jonathan Toews and Kirby Dach will sink this team's already questionable fortunes
  • Columbus Blue Jackets -- Coach John Tortorella is poised to bring out the next in Max Domi
  • Dallas Stars -- No Ben Bishop, no problem in Big D
  • Detroit Red Wings -- It's time for Filip Zadina to step up in the Motor City
  • Florida Panthers -- Sergei Bobrovsky will determine if this is a playoff team
  • Nashville Predators -- Pekka Rinne the backup? It could happen this year
  • Tampa Bay Lightning -- Even without Nikita Kucherov, the Lightning should win the Central
