FanDuel NHL: Monday-Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NHL: Monday-Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NHL series.

With only one game in the NHL on Monday, FanDuel has combined Monday and Tuesday into one slate. Here are some value options to consider…

Goalie

Craig Anderson, OTT vs VAN ($8,100): Anderson is coming off of his 39th career shutout and has been red-hot to start the season. He's allowing 1.75 goals per game, has a save percentage of .937 and has two wins. He's home Tuesday against a Vancouver team that is averaging just 2.25 goals per game.

Center

Kyle Turris, OTT vs VAN ($5,200): The Senators have been playing well, and much of that success can be attributed to the play of Turris. In his last three games, the first-line center has two goals and five assists. He's seeing time on the top power-play unit, as well, which increases his upside.

Sean Couturier, PHI vs FLA ($4,900): Couturier is coming off of a two-goal, three-point performance in his last game and has averaged over 18 minutes of ice time this season. Once regarded as a defensive-minded center, Couturier has shown that he has the offensive ability to hold his own on both ends of the ice.

Wing

Evgeny Dadonov, FLA at PHI ($4,600): Dadonov is coming off a game in which he had two assists and he continues to see time on the top line and top power-play unit. He's seen at least 18 minutes of ice time in each game this season and continues to be underpriced.

Chris Kreider, NYR vs PIT ($4,900): Kreider is off to a slow start this season but is in a good spot Tuesday. The Penguins have allowed the most fantasy points to left wings this season with six goals, 12 assists, and 50 shots on goal allowed to the position. Skating on the first line and top power-play unit, it's only a matter of time before Kreider has a big night.

Clayton Keller, ARI at DAL ($4,800): The Stars have been lacking defensively this season, especially against right wings. Keller has been productive thus far in his rookie campaign as he's averaged close to 20 minutes of ice time close to four shots on goal. With six goals and 13 assists against, the Stars have allowed the most fantasy points to right wings this season.

Defense

Shayne Gostisbehere, PHI vs FLA ($5,600): Gostisbehere is tied for the lead in assists by defensemen with eight and has been playing much better after a rough 2016-2017 campaign. He also has a nice role as Philly's power-play quarterback.

Olli Maatta, PIT at NYR ($4,500): Maata has points in five of six games with two goals and four assists. The Rangers have allowed the second most fantasy points to defensemen to this point with five goals, 14 assists, and 52 shots on goal.
