Dream11 Fantasy KBO: Heroes at Twins

This article is part of our Dream11 Fantasy KBO series.

Kiwoom Heroes (6-3) vs LG Twins (5-3)

Friday, May 15, 5:30 AM EDT

Projected starters

RHP Hyun Hee Han (1-0, 4.50 ERA) vs Chan-heon Jung (0-1, 6.75 ERA)

Game Preview

The Heroes got off to an impressive start this season, but they've since crashed back to earth and enter this contest riding a two-game losing streak following Thursday's surprising 8-5 loss against the Samsung Lions. Meanwhile, the Twins are a team on the rise, sporting a 5-3 record while riding a four-game winning streak. They are coming off a 3-2 win over the struggling SK Wyverns the last time out. The Twins will try to extend their winning run, but they'll need a better effort from starting pitcher Chan-heon Jung, who got roughed up for five runs (three earned) during his season debut. The Heroes will counter with Hyun Hee Han, who allowed three runs across six innings of work last week against the Eagles.

Injuries

Hyung Jong Lee – Twins – Out - Wrist

Lee, who suffered a fractured wrist in a preseason game, is expected to return in late May or early June, Newsis News Agency reports. Lee broke the fifth metacarpal in his left hand, but he should be a big part of LG's offense when he returns after hitting .286 with 13 home runs and an .800 OPS last season. Yong-taik Park has received more playing time as a result of Lee's injury.

Kiwoom Heroes Expected Lineup:

SP - Hyun Hee Han

1. Keon

Top picks:

Hyun Soo Kim, Twins: Kim's hitting streak ended at seven games following a 0-for-2 performance Thursday, but he still enters this game as an offensive force to be reckoned with. Kim has been one of the top hitters in the KBO this season thanks to an impressive .455/.514/.727 slash line. He' driven in nine runs in eight games.

Roberto Ramos, Twins: Ramos continues to hit for fun and extended his streak to eight games with a 2-for-4 day on Thursday. The Mexican first baseman is among the most expensive players in this slate, but he enters this game sporting a .419 average with a 1.292 OPS. He is worth the hefty price tag.

ByungHo Park, Heroes: Park has been struggling to start the season, going hitless in four of his last six games. He's hitting just .190 with a .673 OPS during that stretch, but he has two homers on the season and three of his seven hits have gone for extra bases. He's bound to wake up at some point and this matchup against Kelly, who surrendered five runs in two innings the last time out, seems like an ideal time to do so.

Hyun Hee Han, Heroes: Han's first start of the season didn't go well, but he gets the ball here with the task of stopping the Twins' four-game winning streak. Considering Kelly got roughed up in his season debut, Han feels like the safest bet of the two starting pitchers here.
