The Skinny
Chicago and Connecticut rank second and third in pace on the slate, slotting the clubs in a tie for the expected highest scoring contest on the slate. It's also expected to be the closest game of the three and was the only one to open with a single-digit spread. Connecticut locks down the three-point line as well as the glass, but the team has been vulnerable to guards who can drive to the hoop and dish, allowing a slate-high 18.7 assists per game. If that holds true, Courtney Vandersloot could see provide a big game from the guard slot. She posted a line of 13 points, seven assists, three steals, two rebounds and one block in just 24 minutes. A larger workload could yield better returns yet Tuesday. On the flip side, players who rely on boards (such as Jantel Lavender) or three-point shooting (Allie Quigley) for a significant portion of their daily value should receive a downgrade against a Connecticut squad that boasts a slate-best rebound rate (53.1 percent) and a slate-low 5.7 three-point shots made on a slate-worst 28.3 percent shooting from beyond the arc.
Chicago surrenders the highest average points (79.3 per game) of the six teams playing Tuesday, including a slate-high 36.3 point in the paint. This positions Jonquel Jones to take advantage of that. She posted a double-double with 11 points, 10 rebounds a steal and a block over just 23 minutes in what was a blowout the last time these two teams met. Reaching her average minutes of 29.6 would presumably boost her output further. Chicago also gives the ball away 8.7 times per game via steal, which could bolster Alyssa Thomas and her team-leading 1.9 steals per contest's case for fantasy usage. She finished with three thefts the last time the two clubs squared off. Chicago also guards the three-point line well, potentially lessening the fantasy impact of Shekinna Stricklen and her 6.1 three-point attempts per contest.

The Skinny
Although neither team in this contest plays up-tempo, the two sit middle of the road in terms of defensive efficiency and Washington owns the league's best offensive rating. As a result, the Mystics enter the game as 10-point favorites over the Mercury. If Phoenix wants to challenge, it will need to take advantage of the boards against a Mystics squad averaging just 66.5 percent defensive rebound rate. Both Brittney Griner and DeWanna Bonner are known to crash the offensive glass, collecting a combined three offensive boards and 14.6 total rebounds per contest. The Mystics also allow a good amount of shots to fall from deep, potentially again boosting the stock of Bonner (2.1 made per game) along with Leilani Mitchell (2.2 per game).
Phoenix is just as vulnerable on the boards, owning a slate-worst 66.4 percent defensive rebound rate. That could lead to second-chance points for an already efficient Mystics club. The two teams mirror each other closely in regards to strengths and weaknesses defensively, with the three-point line and rebounds being the Achilles heel. Elena Delle Donne's 8.4 boards per game leads the two teams and could put her in a strong spot to total dboule digits in the category. She also connects on 40 percent of her three-point attempts. She missed the only meeting between the two teams earlier in the season, which was dominated by the Mercury. Tianna Hawkins posted her best scoring effort of the season in the game, notching 24 points to go along with seven rebounds.

The Skinny
The slow pace played by the Wings, in combination with the Aces' slate-best 90 defensive rating, leads this game to the lowest over/under on the slate by eight points. As the largest underdogs on the slate, there's very little to look forward to in terms of the Wings. Opponents are converting from deep at just 32.4, but the pace of the Aces results in a slate-high 7.3 three-point shots per game made by the opposition. The slowed pace will certainly lower these numbers, but the Wings have four players averaging more than a three-point shot made per game, led by Arike Ogunbowale (1.4) and Glory Johnson (1.3). Johnson also leads the squad with 1.6 steals per game, which may come in handy against an Aces club that loses the ball via theft a slate-high 9.1 times per game. Ogunbowale led the way the last time the two clubs met, totaling a career-best 25 points. Allisha Gray was the only other Dallas player to score in double figures.
