The Skinny
The Mystics continues to overwhelm their opponents on a nightly basis, having won eight of their last nine games. After a down game by her standards last Tuesday, Elena Delle Donne returned to form Saturday with a 28-point outing against the Wings. She led the five Mystics players to reach double digits in the contest. With Aerial Powers sidelined, it was LaToya Sanders who picked up the slack, logging 32 minutes in the contest. She could be in for a hefty workload again Tuesday with Powers set to miss her second straight game. Of the available players, Emma Meesseman is the one most likely to take advantage of the Liberty's slate-high 18.2 points per game allowed off turnovers. Meesseman averages 2.8 point per game in that fashion and is coming off of a 19-point outing Sunday in her first start since July 13. She replaced Shatori-Walker Kimbrough in the starting five and could make a second straight start Tuesday with Aerial Powers sidelined again.
The Liberty return the services of star forward Tina Charles on Tuesday after she rested the previous game, but they still face an uphill climb to top the team with the league's best record. A refreshed Charles will aim to take advantage of a Washington defense that allows 32.6 points per game in the paint, good for third-most on the slate. The Mystics have started to clamp down on the defensive end, making it even more dangerous to select players going against them. Given the massive line in the contest, this one has the most blowout potential, so there may be some potential value in bench options on both sides like Walker Kimbrough and Tianna Hawkins for Washington and Rebecca Allen and Brittany Boyd for the Liberty.

The Skinny
The expected close game and lowest scoring of the trio takes place in the desert Tuesday. Phoenix's struggles on the glass are well-documented, with the Mercury hauling in a slate worst 47.1 percent of rebounds on the campaign. Seattle holds the second-best rebound rate on the slate at 49.6 percent with Natasha Howard and Mercedes Russell being the two most likely to take advantage. The Mercury also allow a slate-high 33.9 points per game in the paint, where Howard averages the fifth most points per game (9.7) in the league. Russell chips in with 5.8 points per game herself.
The Storm defend the paint reasonably well, surrendering a slate-low 31 points per game to the opposition down low. That doesn't mean Seattle doesn't have vulnerabilities on the defensive end of the floor however. The Strom allow a slate-best 36.4 percent conversion rate from beyond the arc, in addition to a slate-high 10.2 fast-break points and the second-most points per game off of turnovers (17.5). Unsurprisingly, DeWanna Bonner and Brittney Griner head the points off turnovers department for the Mercury, averaging 3.7 (Bonner) and 3.3 (Griner) points per contest. Bonner also leads the way with 1.8 fast-break points per game and, although she is converting at just 27.8 percent on the season, she tops the Mercury charts in terms of three-point attempts (5.8) per contest, setting up the star forward for a significant scoring effort Tuesday. Diana Taurasi hasn't found her stroke from beyond the arc yet, but she still heaves up 4.2 per game and could be in the mix as a potential value candidate.

The Skinny
As has been the case most of the season, the Dream enter Tuesday's affair on a losing streak. The Dream picked up a pair of wins prior to their current two-game losing streak, but they enter Tuesday's contest as a massive underdog. The club has employed a fairly even minutes spread in recent contests, so there may be some value to be had among the cheaper options Tuesday. Maite Cazorla supplied nine points in Sunday's game against the Storm and has seen double-digit minutes in the last two contests. She connected on both of her shot attempts from deep and could have an opportunity for more against a Sparks squad allowing the second-most three-point makes per game (7.1) and third-best shooting percentage (35.4) from deep. Tiffany Hayes led the way in the last two clashes between the squads, averaging 19.5 points, three assists, 2.5 steals and two rebounds. Monique Billings also chipped in with 12.5 points and 12 boards per game.
The Sparks have lost two of their last three games, but both of those came against top-tier opponents on the road. Los Angeles holds an impressive 2-2 record on the home floor this season and shouldn't have much trouble adding another to the win column Tuesday. Nneka Ogwumike remains questionable for the contest due to an illness, which could leave a signficant hole in the club's frontcourt. Her sister, Chiney, and Kalani Brown both saw expanded roles Sunday after she departed and could be in line for minute increases should Nneka sit out. Riquna Williams is coming off a season-best fantasy output thanks, almost exclusively, to her shooting that resulted in a season-high 37 points. Atlanta is prone to send the opposition to the free-throw line as well, so that could work in her favor Tuesday. The Dream also allow a slate-high 39.3 rebounds to the opposition. Aside from Nneka Ogwumike, Candace Parker and her Chiney are the two best-equipped to take advantage of that flaw. Parker hasn't faced the Dream yet this season, but the Ogwumike sisters both averaged double digits in the two previous games.
