The MLB regular season will soon be done. Until then, there's plenty more DFS action to get into. Sunday brings 11 games on the slate, with the first pitch at 1:35 p.m. EDT. Here are my lineup recommendations.

Pitching

Andrew Abbott, CIN vs. CHC ($9,000): Abbott has made major strides this year by taking his K/BB rate up to 3.40, his HR/9 rate down to 1.04, and his ERA all the way down to 2.88. And while the Reds' ballpark tends to be hitter-friendly, he's recorded a 2.52 ERA there. The Cubs still sit eighth in runs scored, though Kyle Tucker is hurt and the lefty Abbott represents a tricky matchup for them.

Trey Yesavage, TOR at KAN ($8,800): Is Yesavage the real deal? It's too early to say. He's 22 and was in High-A ball when the season began, yet cruised through the minors, dominated at Triple-A, and only allowed one run while racking up nine strikeouts in five innings during his MLB debut. I'll take a shot on Yesavage against a Royals' lineup that bottom-five in runs.

Jeffrey Springs, ATH at PIT ($7,900): After facing the Red Sox in each of his last two starts, Springs will be happy to be facing a woeful Pirates' offense on Sunday that will finish last in runs scored and team OPS while being bottom in home runs by a comfortable martin. Springs will also be happy to be on the road based on his 3.45 ERA in away outings.

Top Targets

The fact Taylor Ward ($3,800) likes to swing for the fences works just fine at Coors Field. So does his .911 road OPS. I also like Ward's .905 versus southpaws on Sunday as Kyle Freeland is a lefty and it would appear he'll finish with an ERA over 5.00 for the third straight season.

In addition to exceeding 20 homers and 30 stolen bases and thanks to his .367 OBP, Fernando Tatis ($3,700) has scored 100-plus runs. He's also registered an OPS over .850 against righties the last two years. Sean Burke has struggled to a 5.04 FIP while his fellow righties have hit .273 against.

Bargain Bats

You don't need a catcher for your DFS lineups, but Shea Langeliers ($3,500) performs better than most first basemen and is worth rostering. He's going to end up with 30 homers and 30 doubles, and he's closing in on that even though he's only made 118 appearances. Langeliers is also bolstered by a .923 road OPS. Mike Burrows carries an 1.8 HR/9 home rate with righties going .261 against while producing two-thirds of the long balls he's allowed.

2025 has been a setback for Ezequiel Tovar ($3,300), yet he's at least notched an .896 home OPS. Sometimes, all you really need to make a DFS decision is to know someone is playing at Coors Field. It helps that Tovar is a shortstop, where the mean offensive performance is lower. Sam Aldegheri just got called up by the Angels, with the expectation he'll start Sunday. He's made 22 starts at Double-A and the jump from that to Coors Field is a big ask for the lefty to handle.

Stacks to Consider

Mets vs. Nationals (Jake Irvin): Francisco Lindor ($3,700), Pete Alonso ($3,400), Brandon Nimmo ($3,000)

If the Nationals are serious at all next season, Irvin won't be in the rotation. He was mediocre in 2024, but has been a disaster this year based on a 5.76 ERA (6.15 on the road), 1.92 K/BB rate, and 1.87 HR/9 rate. Since lefties have batted .285 against Irvin, I've selected two players below who can hit left-handed.

Lindor fell one swiped bag shy of 30 homers, 30 doubles, and 30 stolen bases last season and currently needs three more home runs to complete that. Though he's a switch-hitter, his .855 OPS versus righties stands out. Alonso is a righty who's enjoying his second-best campaign as a hitter. He might have 40 homers, 40 doubles, and 120-plus RBI, though he can also claim a .928 OPS against righties and a .941 at home. For the first time, Nimmo has hit for average with power while also using his legs to his advantage having gone over 20 homers and double-digit steals while batting .260 and slugging .482 at home.

Blue Jays at Royals (Michael Wacha): George Springer ($3,800), Vladimir Guerrero ($3,600), Daulton Varsho ($3,400)

Wacha comes in with a mediocre 3.79 ERA, though his 6.51 K/9 rate is quite poor. And in his first start back from an IL stint, he allowed seven runs in 2.2 innings to the Mariners. Even before the injury, he posted a 4.41 ERA across three outings. Wacha's fellow righties have gone .259 against while producing two-thirds of the homers he's conceded in fewer at-bats than versus lefties.

Springer has a .975 OPS against righties and a 1.020 the last three weeks. Guerrero is at an .833 the last three weeks with an .838 against righties and a .905 on the road. Varsho is a lefty, but well worth rostering due to a .932 OPS versus righties while blasting 19 homers in only 64 appearances.
