The Boston Celtics play host to the Miami Heat in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals at TD Garden on Monday.

Miami leads this best-of-seven series, 2-1.

The Heat (2-1) have been unpredictable in this series. They started things off with a blowout win in Game 1 but followed it up with a blowout defeat in Game 2. That had many people believing they were in trouble headed back to Boston but a Game 3 win on the road quieted all of those skeptics. What made that win even more impressive is the fact that Jimmy Butler departed due to a knee issue. That forced Bam Adebayo into a playmaking role and the big man collected 31 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and four steals in one of the performances of his career. He's been slumping a bit but if he keeps playing like that, this club is going to be tough to beat.

The Celtics (1-2) had a night to forget in Game 3. They trailed by 20 points in the opening quarter of that defeat and could never make up that large margin. Jaylen Brown did everything possible with his 40 points but Jayson Tatum had one of the worst games of his career. The All-Star had just 10 points, six rebounds and four assists on 3-of-14 from the field, while committing six turnovers. That obviously won't get it done and they need more from what's supposed to be a superstar player. He did suffer an injury of his own but still played 40 minutes. That means the best player from both of these teams are nicked up and it'll be interesting to see who's able to play in these critical final few games.
