Kings Host Rockets on Wednesday
The Sacramento Kings play host to the Houston Rockets at Golden 1 Center on Wednesday.

The Rockets (10-30) come into this matchup losing seven straight and 12 of their last 13 games in total. That run has the Rockets sitting with the worst record in the NBA, and it's hard to understand how that's a possibility. There's an abundance of young talent on this team, with Kevin Porter, Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun and Jabari Smith all looking great at times this season. That's a good core to build around, but it's clear the inexperience is really hurting this team. In any case, it's all about the future for this organization, and the future is bright with so many talented youngsters getting large minutes. The losing ways are likely to continue, but as long as they improve, this won't be a lost season.

The Kings (21-18) pulled off another impressive win on Monday, mauling the Orlando Magic by nearly 30 points. That snapped a stretch in which Sacramento lost three of its previous four games, and it's impressive to see this blossoming team take care of business when they're struggling a bit. This club hasn't had many stretches of struggles this season, posting their best record in nearly 20 years. This team actually hasn't made the postseason in two decades, and this looks like their best chance to snap that ugly streak. Having a duo of De'Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis is scary for the rest of the NBA, and either of those guys could make the All-Star team if the voting falls their way.

Sacramento has dominated this series over the last two years, winning four of their last five games over Houston.
