Herbst will drive the No. 36 Ford for Front Row Motorsports in Saturday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Daytona, Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports
Herbst made two previous Cup Series starts this season at the Daytona 500 when he finished 10th and Talladega when he finished 20th. Both of those were in the No. 15 Ford for Rick Ware Racing. While this entry will be under the Front Row Motorsports banner, the car will be prepared by Stewart-Haas Racing. Herbst will likely be tasked with trying to help some of the Ford drivers from SHR and Front Row Motorsports get a win at Daytona and make the Cup Series playoffs. Herbst is a full-time Xfinity Series driver and sits 10th in the standings just three above the cutline with three races remaining in the regular season.
