Byron finished third in the YellaWood 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway Sunday afternoon.
The driver of the No. 24 Chevrolet proved his superspeedway prowess Sunday in the YellaWood 500. Byron raced among the leaders all afternoon and captured runner-up finishes in the first two stages. He would manage 12 laps led in a race where the lead was never safe. Byron would give a good push to Ryan Blaney
coming to the white flag and boost him into the lead. Byron would battle with Kevin Harvick
coming to the finish line and take third-place in the photo finish mayhem. It was his 12th Top 5 of the season.
