Third at the Magic Mile
Byron finished third in the Mobil 1 301 NASCAR Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon.
ANALYSIS
The Hendrick Motorsports star would start among the Top 5 and race there all afternoon at the Magic Mile. Byron would finish third in the first two stages and he'd hold onto that good track position late. The driver of the No. 24 Chevrolet couldn't pry the lead from the faster Fords but he'd ride their bumpers all the way down the stretch. Byron would hold off Joey Logano in the closing laps to secure a strong third-place finish. It was his 10th Top 5 of the season.
