Each week I share my favorite player props as part of our DFS College Football series.
To identify my top college football picks, I start by referring to the "Best Underdog Picks" on RotoWire's Picks tool, which compares the passing, rushing, receiving and kicking numbers available at several of the most popular DFS sites and sportsbooks to find which props are most favorable to choose on Underdog. The tool also compares the numbers to RotoWire's projections and factors in how frequently the player surpassed the number in past games -- known as the "hit rate" -- to indicate if we should lean "more" or "less."
We're off to a strong 7-2 start to the season. Let's keep the momentum!
QB CJ Bailey, NC State
NC State visits Wake Forest in a standalone game on Thursday night, and this is a good spot to get some action on the game.
Bailey has played four road games in his career and averaged 225 yards per game, going over 251.5 just once. NC State is favored by 7.5 against a Wake Forest team that has yet to face this level of competition this season. I suspect that the Wolfpack will be able to control this game and lean on the run game led by Hollywood Smothers, who has 39 carries for 216 yards and 3 TDs in two games this season.
CFB Underdog Pick: CJ Bailey LESS than 251.5 pass yards
RB Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame
Look at any mock draft for the 2026 NFL Draft and you'll likely find Love as the first running back off the board. Obviously, he's a high-end talent with elite upside. But when it comes to fantasy college football and DFS, he's also one of the most frustrating players because of how Notre Dame utilizes him.
Love had just 10 carries for 33 yards in the opener this season, while backup RB Jadarian Price got six carries and QB CJ Carr finished with 11 rush attempts. We saw a similar trend last season, particularly over the last six games in which he averaged just 8.2 carries per game and didn't have more than 13 in any of those games.
Sure, UTSA's Robert Henry had no problem running over Texas A&M's defense in Week 1, but I'll bet on the lack of volume here. I'm projecting about 11 carries for 70 yards for Love.
CFB Underdog Pick: Jeremiyah Love LESS than 76.5 rushing yards
WR KC Concepcion, Texas A&M
Either teammate Mario Craver or Concepcion or both are going over their total in this game. It might depend on who sees less coverage from top Notre Dame corner Christian Gray.
Either way, I'll go with Concepcion, who showed off his explosiveness in Week 1 with an 80-yard punt return touchdown and a 31-yard touchdown reception. He has over 70 yards in each of the first two games and has topped 39 yards in 17 of 27 career games. The Aggies offense is rolling, and Concepcion is a big part of it.
CFB Underdog Pick: KC Concepcion MORE than 39.5 receiving yards
