The Preview
Serving once again as the PGA Tour's regular season finale, the Wyndham Championship provides one last chance for players near the top-70 bubble to qualify for the upcoming FedExCup Playoffs. Featuring quick and undulating bermuda greens in the Carolina summer heat, Sedgefield Country Club has hosted the event since 2008. Although these putting surfaces are relatively easy to hit from the fairway as GIR percentages inflate, three-putt rates also climb as proximity is more important when targeting the correct tier or bowl on the dance floor.
The Donald Ross design features two reachable par-5s that lend legitimate eagle opportunities, while eight par-4s measure between 400-450 yards. Driving accuracy is key on this shorter layout, and there are several chances to take less than driver off the tee in order to secure preferable angles, thus creating a healthy amount of approach shots from the 100-175 yard range as birdie chances come in bunches. All but two of the last nine winners reached the 20-under-par mark.

Cream of the Crop
Keegan Bradley - $45
The Ryder Cup captain and recent Travelers champion continues his quest to prove that he's worthy of teeing it up at Bethpage in September. Although the $45 maximum salary looks steep for a non-elite player like Bradley, Yahoo's overall pricing is still soft enough to confidently click on him up top. Over his last 36 measured rounds, he's No. 1 among this field in SG: Tee-to-Green and fifth in Prox: 125-150 yards.
Ben Griffin - $44
The hope is that back-to-back missed cuts at the John Deere Classic and The Open Championship help limit Griffin's ownership at a lofty $44, making him a GPP target. Not only is Griffin enjoying the best season of his career, but he also placed T7 or better in two of the past three editions of the Wyndham Championship, notably finishing second among the field in SG: Approach here last year. Over his last 24 measured rounds, Griffin resides second in SG: T2G, fourth in Birdies or Better Gained and ninth in SG: Putting.
Matt Fitzpatrick - $41
Fitzpatrick appears to be all the way back in prime form after notching consecutive T4s across the pond, entering this week as the outright betting favorite at 20/1, though his Yahoo salary lands four dollars shy of the $45 max. This slight discount should result in massive ownership for Fitz, especially in cash games. There really hasn't been a single weakness to his game since the beginning of May.
Glue Guys
Harry Hall - $31
The Englishman is deserving of a salary in the upper-$30s against weaker competition at this point, and as one of the best putters in the world, Hall sets up well for a potential birdie fest and putting contest at Sedgefield Country Club. He's posted eight straight top-30 results since the Myrtle Beach Classic in May, and Hall ranks No. 1 in each of SG: Putting, three-putt avoidance and Birdies or Better Gained over his last 24 rounds.
Jake Knapp - $29
Knapp is coming off a T3 in Minnesota where he paced the 3M Open field in both SG: Off-the-Tee and GIR percentage en route to 20 total birdies and an eagle across 72 holes. He's notched five consecutive top-30s dating back to the RBC Canadian Open, ranking top-10 in both SG: T2G and Opportunities Gained over his last 24 rounds.
Nicolai Hojgaard - $29
Hojgaard's volatility makes him an exciting GPP target when he's in a groove, and he just placed T24-T4-T14 from the Rocket Classic through The Open Championship. The primary concern here is that he's inaccurate off the tee, but Hojgaard should be able to take less than driver fairly often around Sedgefield. He's also putted extremely well on these bermudagrass greens in Greensboro the past two years.
Bargain Bin
Rickie Fowler - $28
Fowler ranked seventh or better among last week's 3M Open field in both driving accuracy and scrambling, collecting his third straight top-30 result since the John Deere Classic where he gained a season-high 7.1 strokes from tee to green. Over his last 12 measured rounds, he's No. 1 in Birdies or Better Gained and fourth in three-putt avoidance. Additionally, there's much less pressure on Fowler that he's up to 61st in the FedExCup standings.
Kurt Kitayama - $27
Kitayama's $27 Yahoo salary fails to bake in his dominant victory this past week at TPC Twin Cities, where he gained a career-high 13.2 strokes from tee to green on the way to an absurd 32 total birdies. He's now No. 1 in SG: T2G and SG: APP over his last 24 rounds, and Kitayama is seventh on Tour in overall proximity this season.
Luke Clanton - $22
Clanton opened his 3M Open last week with back-to-back 66s before cooling off throughout the weekend, but he still racked up 21 total par-breakers across four rounds in Minnesota. He finished solo-fifth during his Wyndham Championship debut in 2024, gaining a career-high 6.9 strokes on approach here at Sedgefield last year. At just $22, accepting risk to bet on the ceiling of promising young talent is viable in GPPs.
