This article is part of our MLS Fantasy Rankings series.
Editor's note: Based on feedback we've received from readers, we will now focus the rankings for daily formats. The consistent double gameweeks for some teams skewed the rankings to players who had multiple games, as opposed to those players who had the best opportunities to produce. If you have a question about roster construction for season-long games, or have suggestions on the new format, please feel free to leave a comment below. The composite scores are determined on a points-based system where the top forward on each of our ranker's list is awarded 20 points (for example), the second ranked forward is awarded 19 points, the third 18 points and so on (similar to what you'd see in MVP voting in some sports or college basketball rankings).
If you have any questions or feedback on the rankings, please don't hesitate to leave a comment below, or hit our rankers up on twitter: Schuyler Redpath, JD Bazzo and Steven Eschelbacher.
