Fantasy Premier League Rankings: Top Forwards

We're now less than a week away from kickoff to the 2015/16 Premier League season, which means it's time we start finalizing the rosters we'll be using in season-long games. We've already discussed some strategies for draft formats, while also hitting on auctions. These rankings reflect our writers' opinions on season-long salary cap formats, such as the Premier League's official game and ESPN's Premier Fantasy, though they can also be used as cheatsheets for draft or auction leagues (just note that the rankings were based on the official FPL scoring, so if your league has a different points setup, please feel free to leave a question below and we'll be sure to get back to you quickly).

We've already done the goalkeepers, defenders and midfielders and now we focus on the goal scorers. Points were assigned to each player based on their ranking by each contributor: 30 points for a first place vote, 29 points for a second place vote, 28 points for a third place vote and so on.

Sergio Aguero was the dominant forward in Fantasy Premier League last season, finishing with 216 points, which was 25 points higher than second-place Harry Kane and and astonishing 66 points more than third highest Diego Costa. To put the gap from first to third in perspective, Bafetimbi Gomis finished 66 points behind Costa and was the 25th highest scoring forward.

Given that, it's no surprise that Aguero is the only unanimous top pick in our positional rankings this year.
