Because Wednesday's MLB schedule is so stretched out, the evening slate is quite slight. There are five games starting at 6:45 p.m. EDT or later. Hey, you can still play MLB DFS. If there are games on the docket, DFS is there, and my recommendations are here.

Pitching
George Kirby, SEA vs. CWS ($9,200): Kirby took a couple starts to get back on track after his injury, but over his last 11 outings he has a 3.13 ERA. That includes a 2.36 ERA at home as well. The White Sox are 27th in runs scored, and they have also slugged .367 as a team. That latter number is 29th in MLB.
Jose Quintana, MIL at ATL ($8,000): Though Quintana doesn't get many strikeouts, and he issues too many walks, he still has a 3.50 ERA. However, on the road, the lefty has a 2.49 ERA because the ball has stayed in the park outside of Milwaukee. Atlanta is in the bottom 10 in runs scored. On top of that, Ronald Acuna is hurt, and Matt Olson may struggle against the southpaw Quintana.
Top Target
Over the last three weeks, Jarren Duran ($3,400) has an 1.106 OPS. While his power has dipped in 2025, he's still slugged over .500 against righties, and also at Fenway Park. Since joining the Royals, Michael Wacha has been decidedly better at home. He had a 3.78 ERA on the road last season, and his road ERA this year is 4.10. Oh, and just for the fun of it, I'll note that Duran has a remarkable 12 triples.
Bargain Bat
Unexpectedly, J.P. Crawford ($2,700) has hit two home runs in his last four games. That's not the norm, but the shortstop has hit .289 against right-handed pitchers, and also hit .287 at home. Crawford is actually one of the Mariners who has managed to hit well at home this season. In his career, Jonathan Cannon has a 5.06 ERA on the road, and lefties have hit .283 against him.
Stack to Consider
Royals at Red Sox (Dustin May): Bobby Witt ($3,600), Maikel Garcia ($3,000), Vinnie Pasquantino ($2,900)
This year, May has a 3.00 home ERA, and a 7.09 road ERA. Alright, so what's the problem? Those numbers are from his time with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Red Sox decided to trade for the righty even with those home/road splits. Now May has to try to manage Fenway Park, and also manage these three Royals hitters.
In a "down" year, Witt has hit .287 with 16 homers, 29 stolen bases, and a whopping 37 doubles in 113 games. However, Witt has also slugged over .500 against his fellow righties, and also on the road. Maybe he can put a couple doubles off the Green Monster. Garcia has surprised this season, as he's averaged .300 with 11 home runs and 20 swiped bags. Also, while he's been a surprise, it has never turned into fool's gold. Garcia has a .903 OPS over the last three weeks. Pasquantino is the one lefty in this stack, and lefties do often hit well at Fenway Park. Duran, for example. The southpaw has an .813 against righties, and he also has an .834 OPS on the road.
