This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.
The NBA has six games on tap Sunday, with the first two starting at 4:00 p.m. EDT and 4:30, then the rest at 6:00 and after. Thus, FanDuel is offering two main contest times: early (4:00 to 4:30) and main (6:00 and after). There are some intriguing matchups, and injuries will play a part in the value plays for the day.
Point Guard
Kyle Lowry, TOR vs. ORL ($9,000): Lowry is averaging 29.5 points, 6.8 assists, 6.8 rebounds, 3.8 made threes and 2.0 steals per game over his last four. He could be lined up for another big one Sunday against a Magic defense that ranks 28th in the NBA against point guards.
Raymond Felton, DAL vs. POR ($4,300): Felton can be up-and-down, but he has scored at least 28.4 fantasy points in two of his last three games. More importantly, with Chandler Parsons doubtful and the Mavericks playing more small-ball and facing a strong Trail Blazers offense, Felton could be called upon more than usual to help drive the perimeter offense.
Shooting Guard
Langston Galloway, NYK vs. SAC ($3,800): Galloway has been playing a larger role of late, averaging 24.0 fantasy points per game in his last two. On Sunday, he will face a Kings squad with one of the worst perimeter defenses in the NBA.
Small Forward
Carmelo Anthony, NYK vs. SAC ($8,800): Anthony had to leave the first quarter of Saturday's game with a migraine, but he was able to return and play 40 minutes, which bodes well for his chances of playing Sunday. If he does, he has a great matchup against a weak Kings defense.
Power Forward
Jerami Grant, PHI vs. BOS ($5,200): Grant is averaging 14.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 1.0 assists per game in his two appearances after returning from a concussion. The 76ers' frontcourt is still weakened by injury, and they are facing an undersized Celtics defense on Sunday, which should allow Grant to continue to produce.
Dirk Nowitzki, DAL vs. POR ($6,800): Nowitzki has stepped up huge of late, averaging 24.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.3 blocks and 0.6 steals per game in his last seven.
Ryan Anderson, NOP vs. LAC ($6,100): With Anthony Davis out, Anderson is usually money. He is coming off back-to-back huge games, averaging 29.5 points, 6.0 boards and 3.0 assists per outing in that span.
Center
Robin Lopez, NYK vs. SAC ($5,600): Lopez had just two points and four rebounds against the Warriors on Tuesday, but in his other two games this week he averaged 12.5 points, 7.5 boards, 2.5 blocks and 2.0 assists per outing, somewhat close to his averages for the month. He now faces a Kings defense that is average against centers, but that may be missing their starting center.
