SLATE PREVIEW

Toronto (vs. Pittsburgh) and Seattle (vs. Chicago), Edmonton (at St. Louis) and Nashville (vs. Vancouver) are the favorites on the Moneyline. The over/under for the Penguins-Maple Leafs and Oilers-Blues is 6.5 goals, and the Canucks-Predators and Chicago-Kraken matchups anticipate 5.5 goals being scored.

GOALIE

Thatcher Demko, VAN at NSH ($7,300): Demko has lost three of his last four outings despite stopping 104 of 114 shots for a .912 save percentage. However, he has plenty of bounce-back appeal on Monday's slate. Demko has gone 5-3-1 with a 2.35 GAA and a .922 save percentage in nine previous regular-season meetings with Nashville.

VALUE PLAYS/ONE-OFFS

Connor McDavid, EDM at STL ($7,900): McDavid has amassed three goals on 23 shots and seven assists in his past seven appearances. He has multi-point efforts in two of three contests going into Monday night's action, and St. Louis has surrendered the most goals per game (4.17) this season. McDavid also had two goals and six helpers in three appearances versus the Blues last campaign.

Sidney Crosby, PIT at TOR ($6,600): Crosby has found the scoresheet in nine of 13 games this season, accumulating nine goals, seven assists and 27 shots. He has collected two goals on 26 shots and 10 points in his last nine outings versus the Maple Leafs.

Jordan Kyrou, STL vs. EDM ($5,700): Kyrou hasn't reached the scoresheet in two straight outings after generating four goals, four assists, 18 shots and five blocks during his eight-game point streak. He has two goals and five points in seven appearances on home ice this year. Kyrou also earned two goals and four points in three contests against Edmonton last season.

Dylan Holloway, STL vs. EDM ($4,800): Following a sluggish start to the season, Holloway has one goal, four assists and 15 shots in his past six appearances. He compiled one goal on eight shots and added an assist in two games versus his former Edmonton teammates last season. Holloway has considerable bang for the buck upside on Monday's slate.

FORWARD LINE STACK

Maple Leafs vs. Penguins

Auston Matthews (C - $7,400), Matthew Knies (W - $6,500), Nicholas Robertson (W - $3,600)

Matthews has amassed 16 shots in his last three games and has one goal to show for it, which came in Saturday's 5-2 win over Philadelphia. He is close to a breakout performance, and it could come against Pittsburgh on Monday. Matthews has multi-point performances in six of his past nine outings versus the Penguins. Knies has five goals, 16 shots and seven points in six previous games against Pittsburgh. He has also provided two goals and five assists during his four-game point streak. Robertson has lit the lamp three times in his past four contests while contributing two assists and five shots.

Toronto's line has plenty of offensive upside for Monday's slate. Pittsburgh has allowed the fourth-most shots per game (30.9) this season.

DEFENSEMEN

Evan Bouchard, EDM at STL ($6,200): Bouchard has been all over the stat sheet in his last seven appearances, accounting for two goals, seven assists, 14 shots and seven blocks. He has also notched one goal and three helpers on the power play during that span. Bouchard has five assists and 14 shots on goal in his past six contests versus the Blues.

Erik Karlsson, PIT at TOR (3,000): Karlsson has seven helpers, 15 shots on target and eight blocks across six appearances entering Monday night's action. In his last two outings against the Maple Leafs, he has three assists and four shots.
