The Skinny

Kristi Toliver has scored in double figures in all but two games, one of which was a shortened night due to a quick double-technical. Although she's not a double-double threat, Toliver produces consistently in every category except blocks. Elena Delle Donne notched 11-plus rebounds in each of the past two games and is averaging a career-best 8.9 per contest thus far. That could be a factor again Sunday versus a Dream squad posting a league-worst rebound rate and surrendering a league-high 12.8 offensive boards per game.

Atlanta enters the game as the biggest underdog on the slate, and for good reason. The Dream own the worst offensive rating (90.3) in the league and square off against a Mystics squad that ranks among the best defensively (93.9 rating). Washington turns over its opponents a league-high 17.3 times per game, so the likes of Brittney Sykes and Renee Montgomery, who sport relatively high turnover rates, may have added struggles Sunday.

The Skinny

While Diana Taurasi was initially expected to return Sunday, it appears she will miss at least one more contest. DeWanna Bonner should remain front and center in the offense again Sunday as a result of her absence. Bonner leads the league in scoring and contributes in a major way on the glass (8.4 rpg). That bodes well for her chances to have a big game versus a Sparks squad that surrenders 81.2 points per game and 40.1 rebounds per tilt.

Phoenix does struggle on the defensive end of the floor (101.5 defensive rating), which opens the door for the Sparks to put up some points despite the Mercury playing at a slow pace. While Nneka Ogwumike was limited to just 13 minutes in the last game against the Storm, she still finished in double figures and has reached that threshold in all but two games so far. She should continue that trend against a Mercury squad with the third-worst defensive rebound rate (63.6) in the league.

The Skinny

Given that Chicago and Connecticut both play at an above-average pace, it shouldn't be all that surprising that this game checks in with the highest over/under on the slate. Alyssa Thomas posted a down game against the Dream the last time out, landing her among the top-five budget differentials in favor of FanDuel. The minutes remained steady, however, and the fact that Chicago's opponents take the most shots per game in the league bodes well for her and the other four double-digit point scorers on the squad.

Connecticut sports solid efficiency numbers on the defensive end of the floor, likely contributing to the team's expected 4.5-point advantage in the contest. Courtney Vandersloot may be the one player for the Sky positioned to have a solid game. A wizard as a passer (8.0 assists per game), Vandersloot's ability to create for her teammates could play out well against a Connecticut squad surrendering the second-most assists per game (19.1).

The Skinny

Natalie Achonwa remains a question mark for Sunday's affair. Her absence again would mean a third straight start for third-overall pick Teaira McCowan. After a slow start to the season, McCowan has hit her stride recently and owns back-to-back double-doubles in her first two career starts. Given the production, it may be difficult to send the rookie back to the bench even when Achonwa is available. If she can't go again Sunday, McCwoan should be a perfectly viable option for daily.

Both Seattle and Indiana play relatively slow, but Indiana still struggles on the defensive end of the floor. Indiana's opponents don't shoot particularly well from he floor (39.9 percent), but they knock down 37.4 percent of the threes attempted. This bodes well for Jewell Loyd, who leads the team with 50 three-point attempts and Sami Whitcomb, a sharpshooter knocking down 40.5 percent of her deep shots off the bench. On the off chance that Natasha Howard, who owns a probable designation Sunday due to a rib injury, can't suit up, Crystal Langhorne would presumably rejoin the starting five and could see a rise in fantasy value.
